  1. not sure why this won't post, but I'm now completely surrounded by warnings..ha
  2. that's what I mean, we're within 24 hours, an advisory can always be upgraded, I'm surrounded by warnings and advisories, but we remain a watch? I expect the afternoon AFD will lock something in, just surprised that south of me is advisory and 5 miles to my north is warning, have to be some serious doubts for this area to not upgrade/downgrade at this time frame
  3. I'm a bit perplexed that ALY has still a watch up and not at least a WWA for Litchfield cty, perhaps WSW for Northern litchfield county?
  4. first call was 8-10 here, thinking that may be conservative, that 11 I spat out earlier may come to fruition, could see some very decent amounts NORH me thinks
  5. for my area wow, I was guessing it had me at 11, I'm not going that high, I'd say ceiling is 10 here, but this winter is full of suprises, I am close enough to consider the pike region I guess, like maybe 20 miles away
  6. not sure what WU is using but they got 12" for mby, tomorrow night and Friday?
  7. never quite got going, nickle and dime our way to 30" this year, I'm not even at 25", hopefully this and the next couple weeks offer a few chances at making up
  8. ALY afd likes all snow for here Thursday night and Friday, mentioned possible phasing or nrn.stream clipper early next week after this... winter ain't ovah yet
  9. we're getting some stray LES streamers here, happens a couple of times every winter, too bad the cats block most or we'd get some decent accums at times
  10. exactly how I explained it to my kids, like a summer tstorm, my youngest kept asking where the blizzard went, too cute, was awesome little event, winds are now roaring, sounds like a constant plane going over
  11. nice last 20 minutes, nearly an inch and gusty winds, white out conditions, too bad it was only 20 minutes... I'll take what I can get this season, just over 1.5" on the day, both events combined
  12. absolute white out, literally can't see my neighbors house, wish this would last for an entire storm, can we get one of those please..
  13. holy cow, white out, haven't seen it snow this hard in a long while, jesus!
  14. honestly the hardest it's snowed all season I think right now...cat paws pouring down
  15. sun out, sky to the NW has that approaching summertime storm look, LL is roaring by too
  16. gotta say I don't remember last time, or ever having a squall warning
  17. first round just shy of .7", not bad for a nice currier and ives look...main front band approaching
  18. snow growth has diminished, but vis is still poor, at least we white again, maybe a little more later too
  19. guess my last post didn't post... about.5" of fluff, vis hovering around 1/2sm for a while now, and sirens all over, roads seem just wet to me when I went out
