  1. also, Norfolk had 12 as of 6am, so I'm sure that's gone up since just for reference
  2. i measured 10 maybe an hour ago, but looks like another .5 has fallen since...radar filling nicely out west of us, so maybe we can get some goods until afternoon
  3. this thing is really cranking up, winds are swaying trees, knocking whatever stuck on them last night off, had a brief period of SN++, but it was short lived, back to just SN
  4. shoveled a path to the stairs, not exactly man snow, but not exactly powder either, should clean well, wrap around is filling in nicely, Hrrr really seemed to nail this one from just before go time up to now
  5. starting to pick back up to mod SN now, had a good lull from about 330-730, I've got 10 even, Norfolk reporting 12, a couple of reports in dutchess and Ulster cty NY coming in near 14, that band was legit last night... would be nice to pick up a few more and get over a foot
  6. have exceeded my expectations already as we approach 10" here, and if guidance verifies, tomorrow late morning should ramp up some deform and pick up possibly a few more, right on!
  7. Holy crap! woke up to check and other things and we're at 8.5" since 9 and absolutely dumping snow still, wish I could have stayed up...was there any tssn reported in the band?
  8. straight pouring snow last half hour, just about at 1" now, if these rates keep up until the morning, we'll definitely hit 8+ by then, vis well under 1/4mi now, think I'm going to fall out, so enjoy all who are staying up, just can't do it anymore
  9. almost SN+ here now, my 1/4mi marker is barely visible and growth is good
  10. keep an eye on this area as it pushes north, winds picked up here in the last 15 minutes, snow growth is decent atm, we coat, we reduce vis!
  11. anyone have a hi res radar loop? I failed to renew weather bell so I'm stuck with intellicast, not the best resolution...
  12. 27/22 and picking up steam here...and we're off! good luck and hopefully we can cash in on some meso magic and make some noise later, not much better than tssn...i recall I think 2003 or 04, on a Sunday afternoon absolutely pouring snow and tssn mid afternoon, that was cool, I think I've only witnessed it personally maybe 5-7 times in my lifetime, only got on video once in 2013 band of death
  13. watch that as it pivots and moves on through, maybe the start of a deform, radar looks a lot better last half hour or so, and flakes flying now, I was an hour off, oh well
  14. honestly I outgrew the taste altogether, prefer a nice bourbon when I do drink... also, 27/22 and still overcast with virga overhead, radar looks like garbage right now, breaking up as it pushes in
  15. nice snifter of Woodford about to be consumed as we are set to commence... I said 6 to everyone who asked when go time was, hope it starts in the next 20, or credibility is all lost...ha! enjoy folks, I may try to stay up for this one tonight
  16. ALY has come back to earth in the latest snowfall map, last one had a couple 24" red dots along the east slopes of the cats and berks, but other than that, still with the 12-18 over my head, I'll take, albeit cautiously, I'm a little more conservative saying 8 here, anymore is a bonus, hopefully growth isn't an issue, I remember I think 2017 with 6-8 hours of heavy sand while easy was putting up 20+"
  17. darkened back up now, but I wasn't really expecting go time until later this afternoon at best anyway...better falling once the sun is down in my opinion, wake up to a bunch otg is always a great thing..
