  1. They're probably super hungry at this time of the year too after hibernating all winter.
  2. I'm at 89 now, may touch the 90 mark. Has to be a record.
  3. I see some 90's popping up MesoWest Surface Weather Maps (utah.edu)
  4. Just have to get through next week, end of the week appears better.
  5. 75 and breezy, I was using my leaf blower to clean the leaves and crap out of my garage and just as I had it all out a gust of wind came up and blew it back in.
  6. There was one in Brookfield off of Route 9 yesterday. I got up to 72 today, beautiful day. I'd like to order 100 more.
  7. Early 90s too, I think it was the first week of April I was out fishing with my new boat and it was in the 80s.
  8. 4 hours from my house and maybe a bit further to get in prime position, it would be a long day, would rather spend a night and relax and have a nice meal.
  9. I think if we stay in Stowe we can then see how the weather is and get to the right spot from there. I think it's probably wise to make a reservation now.
  10. You going to the primo spot to see it? I'm considering going, going to try and talk the wife into a few days up north.
  11. Im up to 66, it's a bit humid out but nice day overall.
  12. I see tons of squirrels but no chippies, I thought it was because of the cat but maybe not. I've seen and smelled quite a few skunks like Jerry said. I wonder if the warmer weather made them more active.
  13. Yesterday was the better golf day, little nip today.
  14. My grass is starting to green up, nothing liek the southern CT crew but there's a little green here and there.
  15. Looks like it starts to warm up mid-month and the melt begins. I bet we see some interesting melt pictures.
  16. In the neighborhood I grew up there was a house with a nice piece of land that was never built on, it was big enough for two house lots, I always wondered why they never built. Got my answer after a few years, there's an underground spring that some years creates groundwater, some winters there was so much we'd use it as a hockey rink when it froze. It's hard to know what's happening underground.
  17. We're three weeks away, we used to try and start the second week of April but some years it's miserable at that time. One year it was 38 and drizzle.
  18. I didn't think this year could be worse than the last 3, but it was, I rate this a D-, two storms about 5 inches, a couple 1-2 inchers, a few dustings to an inch and one good cold snap. It wasn't super mild like 2011-12 and the pattern wasn't terrible, it just didn't produce so I didn't give it an F.
  19. I got a few sprinkles here, looks like it's picking up heading to southern Maine.
  20. I almost pulled the trigger on the Ford last year but decided to wait another year or two, I'll be keeping an eye out for a used Tacoma in the meantime, maybe I'll get lucky. I liked the Ford for the same reasons you just stated.
  21. I have an area like that between me and my neighbor, he said it's an underground spring. We both use that area to dump leaves and branches because it's too soggy to grow grass.
