    Started as rain but quickly went to wind swept snow, actually piling up.

    Was like that here for 15 minutes. Little snow we had is almost gone but the temp is dropping now.

    Had a decent squall here dropped 1/4-inch, nice covering for the older snow.

    I've seen a few of them, one was flying over my truck and looked huge.

    I can't remember the last time an arctic front in snow squalls that dropped and inch+ in half an hour then was cold and windy after. Happened a few times in the early 90s. Been a while.

    My sister said it was like a sonic boom and then a train coming, her office is right in York Harbor so she was pretty close.

    My sister lives in York, she said is scared the crap out of her. My sister in law in Webster said her desk shook and her monitor turned off. I didn't feel a thing here.

    Is this poor guy lost, way out of range. I like his dance on the railing.

    I got lucky in that one, the heavy band stayed a few miles to my west, so I cleaned up, I remember watching radar with my sphincter tight praying it doesn't move east.

    Thats not ugly, it's beautiful.

    Lot of flakes flying, that's why I think the northern greens are doing well.
