I don't know, there hasn't been too many of them compared to other years, as long as we get something out of it, doesn't have to be two feet but a major snow storm would make us happy.

I used to skate around; my uncle was a former semi-professional hocky player so we'd zoom around the ice and if a flag was up, we were there in 10 seconds. Looks like it needs a bit of shoveling today.

Holden always cashes in on those marginal set ups, used to have an office there, huge difference as I came down the hill and even worse at my house.

Looks like the north country can get back into the snows in the next few days. What's your depth now?

Cape Neddick, we finalized the plans last week, but we have to wait for spring to get the foundation in. So far things having been going smoothly but I always expect a hiccup having a house built.

I am too so they can start building my house in Maine, want to be settled before next fall.

No storms to track, he loves following systems that may develop, all we have to look forward to is a clipper and maybe something the 2nd.

Cold again next week, hope that clipper develops into something decent.

I'd take a string of 92/93-93/94-95/96, 94/95 was a dud but 3 out of 4 were really good.

When I was a kid, as much as I loved snow, I ice fished a lot and we skated on a nearby pond, to me that was winter when I could do those two things for a few weeks. That said, we have time left to get more snow, so we'll see where we end up in a few weeks.

I don't consider it a rat, it's been cold, and we had a white Christmas and lately snow on the ground with frigid temps. sure, I'd love to see more snow, but it looks and feels like winter. To me a rat is way above normal in temps on bare ground for most of the winter.

I just missed below zero this morning, my low was 2, last two nights were -4 and -5, decent stretch of cold. Looks like we still have cold although not as extreme for a while. Winter in winter.

Amazing with all the cold most of South Dakota and half of Minny and Wisconsin don't have snow.

Saw a lot of ice fisherman and kids playing hockey on the ponds this week in my travels, seems like when I was a kid we did that every year but who knows, that was a long time ago.
