    I had it last week, sucks big time, just getting over it.

    I had that happen in the 2005 winter, had a good two feet of snow and it was below zero. I was standing in the deep snow freezing while I pumped my basement out.

    We had some cold with little snow years but also had cold and snowy years, I remember ice fishing with my uncle with little snow but thick ice one year and another year had thick ice with 2 feet of snow we had to clear to drill our holes.

    After those bad 80s winters I went to buy a truck in the summer of 92, thought it would be a waste of money to spend on a 4WD, you know what happened next, I traded it in after one year and got a 4WD Tacoma, did a lot of travelling for my job back then so it was great the next 3 out of 4 years.

    We had a great overrunning even in January 94, started at 2 degrees with snizzle, changed to rain eventually at night but still in the 20s and the roads were all ice, turned back to snow overnight for a couple inches, nastiest storm I remember.

    The little bit of snow hides the weak spots, really small ponds are safe but the bigger they are the more iffy they get.

    Didn't 2015 start Jan 26th? We still have plenty of time for good snow. I ended up with 1.5 inches after the last burst came through.
