    Me and my wife got a couple pairs there too and they've served us fine for the last 5-6 years, we don't go a lot so it's not heavy wear on them but they look like they're built well.

    No, not last year but there's been some years where she's had a deep pack and we just have piles down here or maybe a few inches. I think she's in a good spot for the inverted trough, seems she's had a couple that got that area pretty good.

    I started as some light snow that melted right away, then sleet then it was just a cold rain.

    I'd consider your area NE Mass, I'm surprised they didn't get any in the central and western areas.

    My sister lives just south of Portland and always does much better snow wise that I do here., plus it's a 10 minute ride to the beach.

    Had light snow earlier now its sleet.

    I lost all but piles, it poured like hell Christmas eve, I remember trudging through quite a bit of snow at my brother in laws Christmas Eve and the next morning we saw grass.

    Didn't we get a Christmas Eve grinch storm in 07 that wiped out over 20 inches?

    Dont discount the grinch storms, 07 we had over 20 inches Christmas eve down to bare ground in Christmas morning

    It's early, it's mostly north of us now but moving in from the west.

    You're right, back then I was younger, don't think I'd do it this year.

    2006 we golfed New Years Eve, it actually recovered a bit and wasn't bad for the rest of the winter, just a late start that year.
