  1. Its like that with everything on every subject. Pick who you want to follow. If people want to follow accounts with wrong info, so be it. Eventually with being wrong, people will stop following. You seem to let it bother you. No need to lecture us here. Who here is posting useless garbage? I dont really read it here unless one of you guys bring it up for some reason. Not sure why these people are even brought up. You guys bring their crap into a perfectly fine thread here.
  2. Looks like no for NY, that stinks. I've had panels for 9 years since I moved into my house if you have any questions. I'm sure you studied up though. A current market: New York does not have an active SREC market for solar owners to sell certificates to utilities to meet state-mandated solar requirements.
  3. Do you get to report your monthly output for SREC $? My SREC $ runs out in 2.5 years, but was able to get them for 15 years. Depending on the value, I typically get back around $4k per year besides not paying a bill. I think that has changed a bit since 2013 though. Also, get a squirrel guard if you haven't already done so! I see NJ now has this. I guess I was in the old program because I get around $180 per SREC. SREC-II is the current program: New Jersey's SREC-II program offers a fixed incentive of $85 per SREC for 15 years.

  5. 67, pretty breezy with frequent gusts into the low 20s.
  6. Yeah, but DC is drier, so are we getting more wet or drying as we become DC?
  7. This is for NYC https://www.extremeweatherwatch.com/cities/new-york/most-yearly-precipitation Here is DC, which people say our climate now is. They get less rain than here https://www.extremeweatherwatch.com/cities/washington-dc/most-yearly-precipitation
  8. You should have said that, not that 40" wasn't equal to 40".
  9. If I put 2 buckets outside, I think both would equal 40" for the year if it was 57 degrees outside or 54.
  10. Most systems get closed between now and like Nov 10th. Get it fixed when it is getting closed for winter or in the Spring when opening.
  11. 74 here now, definitely t-shirt weather
  12. Im not familiar with the towns, but 287 north of route 80 was beautiful on Thursday driving to Pearl River, NY. Im sure some of the state parks in NNJ are probably popping nicely.
  13. Reply to him instead of here. No point in doing it here instead of the source. You obviously follow him. I see 6 comments and none you. If you post his 93k follows will see it instead of the 10 people here that read this thread.
  14. Ever since they canceled the festival, I haven't seen many either.
  15. Love the fall colors, but as soon as the leaves start dropping, all I think about is that its a month of heavy yard work coming haha.
  16. 50 is chilly in a little floating basket I would think. My dog spotted it and wouldn't stop barking at it. Thankfully it landed soon after I took the pic.
  17. I have seen many outlooks that say for example, potentially snowy, wet, dry, cold etc for regions without chopping it down to numbers. I like those as well because in my head I can picture the overall pattern that they are forecasting. If I see cold/potentially snowy over Wisconsin and warm/wet on NJ, I think cutters. Something like that.
  18. 38. Chilly morning ride for these people
  19. It was like 20 miles wide haha. Snow storms always have winners and losers. Sometimes you guys get a nice coastal where i get shafted. Storm tracks always determine the localized winners and losers here. But, that was one of the best snow surprises of my life.
  20. I wonder if you did that same exercise for other stations what it would show
  21. 65 here today. Felt really nice to get a little yard work done.
