  1. Surprised Philly vs Trenton differs by that much.
  2. Ever since Fukushima its been warm, odd. Just kidding.
  3. There are two other stations on my street and they had the same as well the past 2 days. We were within .6 which was pretty cool. Love that these stations popped up the in the last several months. 91.6 now.
  4. https://abc11.com/post/central-north-carolina-sees-coolest-start-august-record-more-wet-weather/17502425/ Coldest start to August ever and 2nd wettest?
  5. Ummm, it has been talked about ad nauseam, so lets bring it up again for the millionth time. While we are at it, Newark always seems warm doesn't it? Has that ever been discussed? I never heard this one either over the years. So you are saying that as we warm up a bit, colder departures will be larger with the new norms. That is mind blowing stuff. Any links to papers on it? Fascinating.
  6. It gets brought up multiple times per day, sometimes spanning over pages, since the board existed. Where have you been? It gets talked about more than anything else on this entire sub forum.
  7. How does this relate to enso? Oh yeah, it doesnt
  8. Yeah, for me I'm on year 12 of them and they are still producing big time. Over the years they got a better looking than mine, but mine still aren't too bad. I have 3900 or so sq feet including my basement and my kids are older than yours (17, 17, 19). But, we are still a good 16 years from retirement, so we will be here for many more years. If people know they are going to be in their homes for a while, I think they are totally worth it. I've mentioned before I didn't install them, I moved in here when they were 4 years old. But with the savings and checks, these would have been paid off in less than 5 years (prior owner paid off up front). The main issue, on year 9, I had a problem with an inverter box. By then, the guys coming out to try to fix them acted like they were looking at a dinosaur and weren't trained on "old" systems. Tech has jumped a ton over that period and it took around 20 months to finally find someone that knew what they were doing.
  9. For last month, zero electric bill, and just got my SREC check, $535. I'm sure my electric bill would have been $400+ easily with the rates going way up. So in one month, that was nearly +1k for me. You really should look into getting panels if you can.
  10. Yes, very nice here. It is 80 with a dew of 61 and winds 5-15 mph. Had to balance out some pool chemicals for a small party here on Saturday, so was outside a lot between work.
  11. I know that says August 5th above, but it seems like the chart is from late July? Bluewave posted this one in the ice thread. Looks like it slowed down a bit from 2012?
  12. Trump’s proposed budget for fiscal 2026 does not appear to target the Hurricane Hunter program. Staff also can be moved as needed, just like any other job that exists
  13. True, I've been keeping my pool open until the 1st week of Oct. I have to use the heater due to the cooler nights, but worth it then to take a dip after work or on weekends.
  14. We've had a ton of storms slip as well for the past 10 years, not just inland runners. It just goes to show how lucky we were for a 20 or so year period. I remember tons of storms modeled less than a week out to hit that slipped off the coast and gave us nada. Selective memory I guess since nothing came of it but maybe clouds and rough seas.
  15. Yup, humidity usually drops off as the month goes on and we get cooler nights, but still nice warm pool days. I used to like as a kid going to my friends' homes and jumping in their pools after doing homework. We would go to the park and play basketball/tennis/stickball, then swim. I just had to be home before dark, which by then is by Jeopardy, lol.
