    Luckily not. They’ll have it inspected. Atleast from pics, the limbs didn’t appear to go through the roof.

    Damn. My parents front yard had limbs take out their power line and some roof damage. Looks like an uprooted tree across the street too.

    6" of rain. Gusts to around 50mph between 1-2 pm. Some neighbors had flooded basement, luckily not me.

    What have been the wind reports across Long Island? Anything over 70 mph?

    Nasty reports from my parents in Islip Terrace, NY. Large limbs on their roof. Uprooted tree took down power lines out front of their house. Out here in PA. 6-7 inches of rain in 6 hours with major flooding to basements/water rescues.

    Interior areas torched between 850 mb and 700 mb. Even the Poconos had sleet with temperatures in the teens this afternoon. The further east/north you got the colder you were aloft in that critical zone....especially on LI and CT (even if your surface was closer to 32). Had about 2 inches of snow and sleet IMBY. Then nasty freezing rain with temps. stuck in the 20s.

    SPC reports with ~60 mph gusts recorded in SW Suffolk, seems accurate. Surely isolated areas with the extensive damage exceeded that.

    Yeah. Was fortunate here. Worst likely missed just to my north.

    Actually in Islip Terrace visiting family. Impressive storm. Winds easily 50+ mph, in waves for 5-10 minutes. We have power luckily. I’ll try and post a video in a bit but it doesn’t do it justice from my vantage point.

    Same here. Missed out on the big storms (2-4” rain) to my southeast by 30 miles.
