  1. Tidal South River this morning out to an unusually low tide. Mud flat style. 32 f , clear, windy otherwise.
  2. Feb total precip 1.83". Snowfall = 0.3" plus some trace days. (First dry month in forever, it seems like.) Highest temp 77f, lowest 13.
  3. Pulled a tick off the dog last evening. I know it's been an early spring, but I really didn't expect that.
  4. Seem to have received 0.01" overnight. Moist out under a PC sky.
  5. Hope this is more accurate than that Eagles prediction was.
  6. 0.60" total for yesterday+overnight. Includes a bit of sleet, but mostly rain. Cold rain.
  7. High of 29f today in full sun. Nice day for outdoor work. We're fortunate to not get much wind here.
  8. Yes, very interesting. I was here for more than half of the top 20 years, and at the time, wouldn't have expected such a ranking for some of them. E.g. I sure didn't think 81/82 (ranked 16th) was much at the time. (Oh well; don't want to start one of those reminiscing threads. Although those are my favorites.)
  9. That's a damn large accumulation of ice. Especially for Buda TX. (Thanks for keeping up the reports Jeb.)
  10. My total for the month = 1.52" Below normal even though it seemed like rain every day. (12 rain days measured) Highest temp 67, lowest 23.
  11. Light to moderate snow falling. About 0.2" so far. Temp 31.8/30
  12. Half inch. That sounds like trouble DFW already down to 27f and frz dzl. Hillsboro 28f ; but Buda clinging to 34f on the hour. It's a large area too.
  13. Sunday morning low of 27. Slate grey overcast, calm, cold enough to snow. I suppose it'll warm up and rain.
  14. Low was 34 and it has only risen to 36 all day. Couple batches of flurries too, with wind. Guess winter wants to come back.
  15. Good post. Got bitter cold after that too. By then I was working out in PG County, happy to avoid DC traffic.
  16. .02" rain overnight, but had to scrape it from the windshield this morning. Kinda surprised me.
  17. Hmmm....dude might be onto something. Hafta look for analog. Time will tell
  18. Also the early Jan snow. Made more memorable by our power being out for 2-3 days. Major State highway closed 3 days after sudden heavy snowfall, major tree damage that took months to clear up. All in the swamps of Anne Arundel too. I've experienced 6 decades of central Md winter storms, some very big, and I never predicted this year's snow would be in the top 20 like this.
  19. Sorry it has taken me a few days to report the December totals: 5.18" for Dec; 54.00" for the wet 2022 (19" snow) Lowest temp 6f, highest 63f
  20. We also had a pup with heart murmur, she lived to 17. A little silver poodle that could run and jump like a deer. I think it'll work out.
  21. Been burning full bore. Was working on some oak and poplar, but finally banned the poplar until warmer weather returns. 7f low for Christmas here.
