  1. The GFS was just a touch away from a capture like the euro shows. Hmm
  2. Agreed. Timing is the name of the game and this was off by a couple of ticks. A later capture is better. Too soon and its a runner.
  3. 14th is under and not very interesting on the 12z GFS VERBATIM. That one is still all over the place on the models, so nothing to be taken verbatim. 6 days out. But this is kind of close in terms of capture:
  4. On that run there is NO snow for CPK
  5. barely a flake into even NW zones before the storm scoots due east under us. Next
  6. Yes 2 more 300 mile jumps are whats needed though. Theres nothing to catch it.
  7. Gfs a tick north and a tick east, good for western zones. Elsewhere looks similar. Could be a nice little storm for some. SNE not looking good as this thing scoots east and does not climb.
  8. looks decent but the poor resolution areas like LI and south CT shore get smoked probably.
  9. Yes this place is asleep. I posted this in the NE forum. Good hit and good to see some op runs showing this kind thing again.
  10. Is there going to be a lawn thread? Asking for a friend.
  11. Wheres the lawn thread. Town took a tree down in my front yard and now my grass is going to burn. What should I do?
  12. OP GFS moved the low 300 miles east to now over Chicago. Wisconsin blitzed. this is for around the 10th
  13. it's at the 8 day mark. Do the operationals show anything?
  14. Scary being stuck on Donner. People start looking at you with wild eyes as soon as you show weakness.
  15. It was the biggest storm of my life and got me into this weather stuff. I got 3 feet. It cannot be matched at least for me (and some others) at least psychologically. Anytime someone mentions the name of that storm it seems to jinx a repeat. Edit: which Tip just did ;-)
  16. The storm that shall not be named.
