Grain of salt. They have looked good before. -

Of course there is no telling where the cold will go. If it’s not the US then we could be weeks away from feeling the effects. It’s intriguing for sure. -

Or a clipper. Or over running. Both I also enjoy. I wish I liked cold rain. -

When it comes to rain, warmth, bad patterns the models seem to be deadly accurate at long range. I wouldn’t expect wholesale change. -

Yes I believe you are correct. Worse run since the last one. -

Agreed. That thread was making me angry. I feel reborn! -
It means we wait for strat warming to save January. Last line of defense.

Sounds like an unmitigated disaster of getting punched in the face repeatedly for days on end. The weather in January I mean..the Vegas trip however sounds awesome!

Agree with that. This weekend rain has been showing up for 10 days...it evolved just like it was modeled. We all picked the most frustrating hobby...only worse hobby might be gambling but only slots. Both often prove futile and depressing.

Record highs? Maybe not but certainly 60 plus. Not too shabby for that date on the calendar.

Yeah but there was the mid long range that said it would be memorable around Thanksgiving. No one expected this. Punting December...2 weeks in January...bad memorable perhaps. Of course no one really knows at this point

Considering it always takes a bit longer to change the pattern and we usually need some luck thrown in I think Feb will be decent even if we have to punt January.

Gone. 6z GFS was an ugly run of rain storms and warmth.

I think the chances are better to hit Powerball than have snow falling on Christmas Day in the MA.

That would be fun. If only...

Good enough. I mean it’s either white or it’s not. Temps below 50 are fine.

That was the early call for Thanksgiving...warm...but it was not. I guess we will see soon enough.

I believe nothing past seven days any more. It could just as easily be snowing or 70F 10 days from now. Xmas could be bitter cold or shorts...no one has any idea no matter what any model says. We wait and hope

There will be something before that. Just gut feeling.

The storm some of us almost had yesterday started out as a rainstorm on the GFS if I remember correctly in the 300hr range. So anything on the table at this point.

I could see that. A snowy El Niño winter doesn’t have to include the MA. We could miss more than we hit...north and south. It’s what makes this fun and nauseating at the same time.

Not all of Prince William. I got nothing. Zilch. I will suffer with the rest of you. Richmond is the new Westminister for today at least. They had nearly their entire climo snow in one day. And before 15 December. Wow.

You have nothing? Not even a stray flurry?
