It will be like a car hitting a giant wall at full speed. Mother Nature tear down that wall. Flurries still on the table however so we can enjoy that...crack in the wall
We won’t soon forget this one. Flush hit that migrated south in December...whoda thought that. On the plus side I think I understand the word confluence now so it’s a wash.
A sign of a great season to me will be when we are tracking a snowstorm again. If we don’t get measurable snow in December I willl feel like a third of the winter was wasted. Even if it’s just one event that delivers advisory level.
Bob deserves the snow. He really puts out some quality posts. PSU as well...showme...I have to believe ours will come eventually. Just hope it’s not March.
You are asking me? Wag 3-5 just north 4-6 central 5-8 south. My house 2-4 inches of tears. I do think the storm will be a tick further north but not enough for anything meaningful above EZF. 1-3 there with more in Spotsy less in Stafford. This is a sharp cutoof storm and hallucinations of its coming north will fun...until they are not fun. You’ll be shoveling I think.
Sure. It’s all on the table. I think I will be looking at clouds heavy at times high 37 winds NNE at 3..then later that night decreasing clouds heavy at times low 29
It’s sad. Missing snow to our north is a constant..missing it to the south is a gut punch with a side of slaw. But you do a hell of a job with analysis and humor in any situation and for that many thanks! We’ll get ours at some point. I need to keep saving so I can move to a better snow climo location where rain is the exception. My brother who lives in Michigan has had half of our snow climo in November alone. Bastard! And he hates snow!
You can’t even make this stuff up. That is just a hard kick in the pills. It will be snowing heavily just 50-75 miles to my south but it will look and feel like snow all day long. I’m gonna need a bigger bottle of something.
how many times have we seen the radar blossom to our north in MD when it was forecast not to snow past the Potomac river. Point is I can see a scenario where the northern edge will be a tick or two further than expected. EZF is tick one right now...we are tick 2. oh it wont be Snow heavy at times with blowing and drifting snow possible...but maybe something to spark a smile
FV3 will not deliver this run. Starting to see where this is headed with the better solutions being stronger low pressure. Tough pill to swallow but just might not be our event.
