If seen frozen precip affect the tipper either way. FWIW the latest Drought Monitor, which took into account Mondays precip but not yesterdays, still has most of us as D0, wonder what it'll show next week.
Hi Rich. Had some moderate snow for a bit, sticking to colder surfaces but the road out the window at least looks ok for now. This looks to be an underperformer with the snow IMO but we'll see.
I saw you got various replies in the other thread. One thing I’ll add is that the CITY of Newburgh and the TOWN of Newburgh are two completely different places as far as being “nice”, whatever that may mean specifically to you. As others said, I would head further west in the other areas mentioned if you want more average snowfall.
I was looking at that earlier, that shows the other years that we didn’t have ice on the lakes and ponds at this point, this year isn’t an anomaly in that regard.
UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab is now at 204% of average precipitation for their water year. Snowfall for this past week:
24 hours: 21.5"
48 hours: 42.7"
7-day: 90.7"
55 at KSWF and 43 at KMGJ which is about 7 miles west and 128 feet lower in elevation. Wonder if this inversion will break in my neck of the woods. 43 IMBY with .43 since the yesterday.
