  1. To that point I posted this is the NW thread
  2. The forecasted low for tomorrow morning is 29 here, up from a forecasted 26 when I looked yesterday morning. I don’t know if that will be enough for me to flip on the heat but looking at the weekend as a whole I’m guessing it will be on for a bit at some point. Now as we look at this potential nor'easter I can’t help but think back to falls like 1995 and 2002 when we flipped from warm and dry to stormy and eventually snowy. Now before some weenie starts screaming about how nothing this year looks the same as those years, blah, blah, blah all I’m saying is sometimes, just sometimes, we can look back at an event and say that it started it all. In the words of Rudy’s best friend Pete in that classic movie “Having dreams is what makes life tolerable.” (STFU @BxEngine)
  3. .40, was muggy this morning around 8am, not anymore.
  4. Agreed, pretty cool to see predication moving in two different directions.
  5. Based on that, another below average season IMBY.
  6. 85 for a high at home, glad I’m not there. Yes, it’s 90 here in Grapevine but that doesn’t bother me as much as the hot temps at home would. Gotta head back tomorrow but at least fall temps arrive on Wednesday.
  7. What are you talking about? Did you think I meant that 85/65 didn't feel too bad from inside a home? LOL
  8. I can't compare it to back then, my son and daughter in law have only lived here since '22. They are in a really nice spot right off Main Street so Grapevine is very walkable...thankfully ;-). This is our fourth visit, we like it but the kids are moving back north early next year to be closer to all the family. 85/65 currently but it doesn't feel as bad as it sounds. I know, I sound insane to myself as I type that.
  9. Low of 38 again at home, low of 68 here in Grapevine, TX
  10. The NWS definition of frost is 36 or below, so yes, so close.
  11. 38 was indeed the low this morning.
  12. I head out on Thursday morning for a long weekend to Texas to meet our new granddaughter. So I'll miss one cool day but then see things warm right back up again. Not gonna lie, I had a similar feeling in that I was going to be pissed if I missed some legit cooler weather.
  13. First 30s of the season on my point and click, 38 for Wed night.
  14. 84 for the high today, the highest high temp of the month. That’s just stupid.
  15. Or you guys could easily use the + quote option and reply in the banter thread. It's not rocket science.
  16. That last line is through here making for a .61 event total.
  17. Just wait till you see Jobs winter forecast .38” and a disgusting 68/67.
  18. I saw photos over the weekend of the pond across from the Willey House in Crawford Notch and its basically dry. Never seen that before.
  19. Love it up there, check out Crawford Notch, enjoy!
  20. Hoodies remain in hibernation and shorts stay in regular rotation.
  21. My house it at 385' but I typically have to drive over a hill that is just over 500' to get to the main road. To the point of how shallow the inversion can be it always cool to drive through it and have the car windows instantly fog up. There are times with freezing rain when I still have ice on everything and most of it has melted on the hill, which is only a half mile from my yard.
