Irene was 6.61" for me, sitting at 1.52" so far. What also helps my location is that the other side of the river is lower so much of the river goes that way when it spills its banks.
Agreed but I think many like it this way. This kinda relates to how people like their snowfalls, say you get 48" in a season, many will say give me 2 24" storms and call it a season. I'd prefer many more smaller events spread out over the winter.
Is it too soon to discuss the various leathery worn out shades of green the leaves have taken on and the early droppers that have littered parts of the lawn? Please advise.
WTH! At least they still have them. If one goes to the DC fair they must get one. I’ve sunk enough money in the beer tent next to the music stage there that I think the vollies were able to get a new rig.
Yep, March ‘18 did a lot of damage over that way, I know a guy that lost several trees in that storm, none hit his house fortunately but one came very close.
For me the bright side is that it was worse on the OBX last week so this doesn’t feel as bad as it did therebut @BxEngine and @Juliancolton can have this weather, I’m ready for lesser dews <as Forky lets out another evil laugh>
