  1. There was a confirmed tornado near Limon
  2. Foggy and misty all day today. Haven't seen a day like that since I lived on the east coast
  3. Quite a bust of a storm from the GFS/NAM. Euro had it right, very little moisture outside of the foothills.
  4. We laugh at the GFS, but even the NAM and long range HRRR have pretty solid snow totals east and southeast of Denver.
  5. Now we have a model war with the Euro wanting to dump over an inch of QPF, even if mostly rain. GFS a ton drier, barely any precip
  6. GFS and Euro want to give one more blast of snow next week before calling it a winter.
  7. I've got about 4" with radar still looking for for a couple more hours
  8. Was supposed to be a high of 44 today. Didn't get past 34. Hopefully that bodes well for a quicker transition to accumulating snow.
  9. GFS may be wrong for late week snow, but you gotta give it credit for its consistency. Euro got a bit snowier overnight, though.
  10. Euro and GFS are night and day different with QPF
  11. GFS and Euro have evolved to just a mountain/foothills storm
  12. Here's one you don't see every day. Volcanic lightning
  13. GFS starting to spit out numbers like its now-retired cousin was prior to the blizzard
  14. What was supposed to be a chance of t-storms with rain changing to snow ended up starting as pure snow reminiscent of the blizzard.
  15. ABout 60" so far. Last winter was about 90". From what I can tell, 80" is average for where I am (6300 feet)
  16. A nice cold front, but less than 1" of snow. The good stuff stayed to the north and west (story of my winter). Looks like spring in full force for the near future though
  17. 28" of snow in the months prior to the blizzard. 26" since then.
  18. My "official" total was 7.8" Should get over 8 with the remaining showers this morning.
  19. Looks to be 7" out there with one more band of heavier snow left to come through
  20. It's on radarscope, you just have to use the low-res filters like base reflectivity.
  21. Started as snow at 36 degrees, quickly dropped to 32 and already nearing an inch.
