  1. Going to be alot of early closings this year. With DST starting people move on to other things anyway and who is going to pay to ski on garbage (other than maybe season pass holders)
  2. That was preceded by an arctic outbreak with temps near freezing for 4-5 days prior. Temps like that are unlikely this year
  3. There are exceptions yes, maybe that happens this time but I doubt it. The lack of snow/ice cover has been understated all winter and a likely reason why cold shots have underperformed etc.
  4. And it's been a torch all winter...all the sudden that's going to change? LOL
  5. That settles it then! Snow for Brooklyn!
  6. Me? Nope. My neighbors who have them tell me some horror stories-not getting what they were promised etc. Not to mention that they would have to be on the front of my house-not happenin'
  7. No solar panels here. But we have seen LR forecasts for cold consistently fail or come in shorter/more muted. Sell.
  8. Canada is torched and there's zero snowcover anywhere. Good luck with anything less than average temps
  9. Marhc 2012 had an inch of rain for the month...we had that in an hour last night.
  10. 2.70 inches here yesterday alone.
  11. I was there early December a couple of years ago with some guys for all of our 50th b-days-was incredible
  12. No cold air even on north winds--pathetic
  13. This winter gives 01-02 a run for it nationally-almost no snowcover anywhere outside of mountain areas
  14. It will be right on the -NAO for sure-expect a damp/wet April that part is tradition
  15. that's why there's no cold pattern coming there is zero cold or snowcover ANYWHERE. We're just unlucky to have a storm over us otherwise we'd be pushing 70
  16. It's weird that people still think it's actually going to get cold for more than a couple of days...this is like the 4th or 5th time around on this
  17. Exactly-it's plus 10 temp wise right now-nothing even close outside highest elevations or NW Maine
  18. No it was very dry...1st half of 2012 especially
  19. 98-99 was horrid here. I can't remember anything notable but I'm sure we had a moderate event or two like this year but I do remember it being mostly warm from front to end
  20. I'm forecsating a record number of day 15 maps from you showing big heat there
  21. Guessing we're going to have another wet humid summer....hard to believe that summer 2022 was so dry-seems like a lifetime ago
