  2. One can get a clock to the -NAO showing up in late March-April
  3. Could make for a hot summer
  4. Might be the coldest morning until next winter
  5. went up to Mohawk last night-conditions were good-they have a large base due to limited rainfall and cold conditions all winter
  6. Jet is too strong for anything to amplify. More importantly we are missing out on precip with these events. Going to be a dry spring and water issues if things don't change soon.
  7. yeah most coastal march snowstorms are preceded by an outbreak of arctic air
  8. Not happening for another reason-we've had ZERO noreasters this year...I don't see the pattern changing in that regard...NYC had 12 inches of rain from 9/1-2/28 BONE DRY
  9. it's crazy how all the precip finds a way to miss
  10. We would literally need everything to perfectly work out. We've had no intense storms all season so would not expect one now....
  11. Can snow there for another 2 months though so likely a few more events unlike here where we are likely done
  12. Many locations with below ave snow nationwide-nothing amplified so it was small potatoes almost everywhere except the gulf coast
  13. That map brings back the memories of watching Jim O'brien as a kid.... RIP Dave-dementia is such an awful disease
  14. Some sprinkles here. Dry pattern continues...
  15. If we even get that. Everything has been too amped in the longer range.
  16. Or endless days of onshore flow, mist, drizzle and stratus...no thanks
  17. On the plus side some showers tonight and tomorrow to wash away all the road salt
  18. TORCH! Another run at 60 today for many places.
  19. We even had the xmas torch with temps in the 60's lol
  20. The problem with all this is that it's too amped in the mid and long range....been the same thing all season.
