  1. up to 55 fog just disappeared as the front came through
  2. And when that article say the northeast it doesn't mean the coast. And generally just means crappy cloudy and cool/damp weather for most of us her...pass And then, watch April, there may be some setbacks where we have some really cool periods and maybe even a little bit of snow, across the interior especially.”
  3. Models wetter for tonight/tomorrow-NAM and RGEM 2 inches in spots especially east of the city
  4. Stuck in the muck all day here-mid 40's and low cloud deck-at least the mist and drizzle stopped around 11am
  5. the question is where does that swath of heavy rain form? If it's east it's less than .50 for most
  6. Pretty dead here too-some daffodils popping up but that's about it. Next week's torch should bring things out a bit...
  7. Yep-the NAM is always good at that stuff as well as finding the sneaky mid level warmth that's always further north than expected...but we'd gladly take this storm in any month lately (let alone March) given the lack of anything decent over the last 3-4 yrs
  8. Yep-48 hrs it looked great and then the usual N and W creep started. Locally we got about 8-9 inches then sleet so was a decent storm but not the 12-18 predicted.
  9. Was a hugger in the end--I remember it inching closer and closer in the last 48 hrs, however today, we'd love a storm like this!
  10. What was odd yesterday was the clear skies despite stronger east winds--was gusting to 25mph here-usually that means a stratus deck
  11. Unusual to have gusty east winds this time of year and clear skies
  12. Chilly day with the east winds and 45. Sun is out so that helps a bit. Usually it's overcast with these setups this time of yr.
  13. Let's hope we don't turn colder 2nd half like last year-we had a big tease and then nasty and cold for 3 weeks once we got to 3/15 or so.
  14. yeah was at least 80 here-I remember having a pizza dinner on our deck that night lol.
  15. We hit 80 back in March 2012 but that was a torch nationwide with no snowcover anywhere. I'd say low 70's next week tops.
  16. Things should really start to green up with next week's torch
  17. March has been torching (borrowed from Bluewave in NYC Forum)
  18. Seems like president's weekend is the end of anything prolonged these days-so down to 7-8 weeks of real winter.
  19. At least we are done with silly snowmaps that never verify
  20. Yeah most of the eggs survive unless it's something really crazy. I'd expect another bumper crop of lantern flies.
  21. Used to be that way here-last March snowfall was 2019. 2018 had a huge March with 4-5 snowstorms but something switched after 2019 now it's warm and snowless
  22. Your areas is a bit different for March It's been full on spring here outside of a couple cold days 3/2-3/4
