  1. that's the peak day of it so if it's going to happen it's that day
  2. may end up mainly cloudy most of the day looking at the satellite.
  3. probably clears by noon but not seeing upper 90's today...need a high launching pad for that.
  4. especially with yet another round of rain...
  5. just finds a way to rain on the weekends-what a bust!
  6. I sit under an umbrella so as long as it’s warm I’m good
  7. Nothing is changing. We will continue to move clocks twice a year
  8. Models are often overdone with the torch in the longer range. And with wet ground it makes Even less sense
  9. tomorrow isn't much better but at least dry for most
  10. close to nothing here and the dry air is moving S now....
  11. Water temps are over 70 for most of September-whereas now they are 60-65
  12. back to chilly weather-61 here with some sprinkles
  13. yeah we had the same issue last week for our upstairs unit....was fixed Sat but then it cooled off lol
  14. I'm about 5 miles inland here...90 degree days are actually somewhat rare compared to nearby places like Danbury White Plains or Newark given the seabreeze
  15. Saturday starting to look drier N and E of the city as the precip gets pushed SW. But yeah temps will struggle to 70 Sat-Mon
  16. most models are warmer than that-but yeah still cool for mid June
  17. really weird feels like summer out! 84 here
  18. blaming the models for busting, arguing over whether sleet counts blah blah blah
  19. You really can't. too widespread at this point. I laugh when people say to kill any spotted lanternfly you see-that's like trying to hold back the tide with a broom. Years ago they sprayed malathion to combat west nile disease in mosquitoes-it possibly led to a large die off of lobsters in LI sound. Not worth it in the end.
  20. yeah the forest is lush here but alot of oak and norway maple, some hickory and tulip trees too
  21. we get a seabreez off the sound so we are always cooler than inland areas
  22. models drier for the weekend-just seems like some scattered convection Saturday on most of them
