models are dry for the rest of the day and even mostly dry for tomorrow
-
although this time I'm happy-we've had enough rain here the last 2 weeks
-
Partly sunny here 71
-
It does look like it is starting to move more SSE vs SE on radar so it might be right. Even then it's not much rain for the city. either way might see some sun after the complex passes
-
HRRR has nothing for the city N and E
-
models crap it out as it comes east--
-
I think we still have a trough/cutoff low into the weekend though...
-
All that virtual snow.....
-
That's not happening either
-
I know Memorial day is the unofficial start to summer but it's still spring and often damp..ocean temps are still 60 or less many years so any east flow is the kiss of death
-
Sun poking out here after a light shower-Upton was away overdone here today-almost nothing has fallen-dry air continues to win
-
Very little here as it's having a hard time moving in here-had a shower overnight-about .10 for the event. Dry currently and 61 degrees
-
Summer of '09 was rainy/cool and it led to one of the most epic winters of all time NYC south....
-
Overcast here-looks like the band of rain is finally shifting NE
-
it will have a tough time moving in at all especially N and E of the city-alot of dry air
-
We went to Great Adventure in Jackson-that was back when they had the animal safari...LOL
-
usually chilly memorial day for the beach anyway-water is cold so any seabreeze and it's under 70 degrees
-
That water can't be more than 50-55 degrees---brrr
-
If anyone truly believes we haven't warmed in the last 20 yrs they need to get their head checked...
-
We have the same issue here-Bridgeport's stats come from an airport on a peninsula that sticks out into the sound-it's routinely 55 there and 70 just a few miles inland....in the winter much warmer than surrounding areas-not really representative of what most people experience sensible weather wise.

It likely will but the main show is over for most here -
The question is do you get any more or is that it?

seems larger than modeled-almost no precip outside of one band moving through now-maybe it fills in a bit later-but the flood watch for some areas may be over-done
