4" so far. it was snowing teeny tiny flakes for a while, but these bands/blobs have had light snow with big flakes. it's really pretty outside.

he worked so hard on it too. soooo many words, lol.

light snow has begun and the road is now turning white. really looking forward to this.

it's 100% your choice to make yourself miserable and to make everyone around you miserable with your complaining. you're incredibly privileged to be able to take this fantastic vacation with your family. why decide you won't go away for a warm vacation in the winter over something as meaningless as snow? I've missed big storms and thundersnow to be enjoying a nice vacation with people I love and have never regretted it. it's just snow and you can always travel to see snow. time spent with people is a zillion times more precious.

i'll be more disappointed if we don't see the super-heavy snow rates than not getting a certain amount . i like to watch snow fall, but I have little use for it once it's fallen, lol. and i'm curious if those 3"/hr rates show up and if they have thundersnow with them.

yes. we moved to Charles Town about 10 years ago.

my updated warning is for 8-12" with snow falling at the rate of 1-3"/hr tomorrow. that's not happening but I'm looking forward to whatever falls.

apart from the few outliers, my backyard has consistently been 10-12”.

LWX doesn’t, lol, although my updated watch is still calling for warning level snow and possible banding for 10”. i understand of course that i might end up with 3”. but i’ll make pot roast either way so it’ll be a win/win situation.
