    Pico was fantastic today. Not as fluffy as Stowe appears to be, but soft, wind-packed snow virtually everywhere. Woods were fantastic. Bump trails were sublime with soft snow even in the deep troughs. Giant Killer, which always seems to be a mess, was lovely on the left side. I picked a perfect day to debut my new Elan Ripstick 106s. Love them! Managed 22 runs today and 35K vertical feet, which is the most I've had since I started keeping track. Giant Killer

    Those pics from Bachelor look amazing. I need to get out there some day. Skiing at Pico on Tuesday was sublime. Falling snow, windloading, and light crowds allowed for fresh tracks most of the day. Blank slate on lots of trails:

    True enough. Haven't spent much time down there, but figure a struggle with warmth is part of doing business for those areas. Killington/Pico reporting 10" today with snow showers continuing. With another round of snow forecast for the weekend, MLK conditions might be OK. Heading up on Friday.

    They are open now. You can see folks skiing on the web cam. They've averaged about 70" the past couple of years. Last year they actually set their record for longest continuous season. http://www.skisugar.com/sugar-mountain-stats/

    That band bisecting Middlesex County won't quit. Still have moderate snowglobe snow. The fluff from earlier is settling faster than it's accumulating, though.

    Intensity has lightened up a bit, but the western band is actually expanding a bit with the western edge drifting west.

    Still cranking under that skinny band over central CT. Very heavy snow at times.

    That narrow western band is hanging tough (but by a thread) back here. Incredible snow-globe dendrites. Not sure how long it will stay stationary. 5.5" 31/30

    MLM has finally moved into Middletown. Hopefully it sticks around for a bit.

    Can't quite get into either the western or eastern band. Moderate snow on the fringe of the western band. About 4"

    About 1" so far. Moderate snow with decent growth despite being between bands. The band to our east seems to be making westward progress. 32/31
