Did a measurement again this morning before snow blowing. Final amount was 7.5". There may have been some compaction, but I'll ignore that. The snow was not as fluffy as I thought, especially in the bottom third. But the asphalt driveway may have accounted for some melting in the lower portion even though it is still slightly below freezing now.

Looks like we are in that final band pushing through. Could be adding another 1/2-1" before we're done.

Been ripping here for the last half hour at least. Probably near 7" now. When I said there was more incoming, I didn't expect it to give the heaviest rate yet.

Let up some here. The heavier bands are just to our N and to the S. But it looks like more incoming.

We here are usually on the wrong side, but not with these last two storms. We jacked with 13" on the previous one.

Just did first measurement and was surprised to find 5" here. We should easily get to the 6-8" that Box had for this area.

The wife and I had our first shot yesterday at Wegman's. Was surprised when they called Tuesday saying they still had a small supply left. Probably many are refusing to get the shot. Both of us had a sore arm last night, but it is slowly feeling better today. Tender to the touch in the shot area. Second one March 17.

I think the Euro is going to play catch-up with some of the other models at 0z as far as qpf is concerned.

From the reports I have seen, it looks like this system has been overproducing down south.

It looked like the old GFS cut back the qpf mostly in the NYC, LI and CT area. Around these parts it was mostly just noise. IMBY it was .01 less.
