Really? We've picked up a couple of inches in a hurry in New Market, but we are 200-250' higher up.

Finally cutting over to meaningful snow. Temps at 33... Things should cave soon.

It does have that feel atm. Even just under 550' in New Market it goes from 30/70 rain snow to the inverse every few minutes and there is no accumulation on any surfaces.

Snow has been mixing in off and on depending on rates in New Market, but a nothing burger thus far. Hopefully soon.

We'll see. There has been some model pessimism in the past and it seems to level out with surrounding areas in the end... unless the banding is abnormally narrow.

That FDK snow hole is present on a few models. Pretty strange since this setup (at least on the NAM) usually does well here. I'm trying to keep muted expectations here in New Market (520' Elevation), but things look good.

Possibly just rimed flakes but sounds like some sleet mixing in even here in New Market, MD.

I'll get an "official" measurement when I take the doggo for a walk in a bit, but appears to be about 5" here in New Market, MD.

Better question might be when was the last time DCA had back to back snow storms with higher accumulation than northern burbs in a week...

Maybe in southern most areas of Frederick County towards Damascus, but it's a nothing burger here in New Market and West into Frederick.
