  1. The last 90 mins has been the best of the storm so far, but we'll see if it holds...
  2. Steady accumulating snow...decent rates but small flakeage.
  3. Yeah...didn't have the heart to burst that bubble.
  4. Seeing a bit more snow mix in now...finally. Still probably mostly sleet, but when it finally flips fully it should be coming down nicely given the rate the sleet has been coming down....
  5. Seems about right...we've had quite a lot of sleet since 7am here as well.
  6. We've eaten up a lot of qpf with hours and hours of mod sleet....lame.
  7. Seeing some more snow mixing in...but still mainly sleet
  8. Pretty much the same here in New Market...need that flip!
  9. Still almost completely sleet in New Market...meh
  10. Not much happening 4 mi to the east and up 250-300' from the airport...
  11. Down to flurries and looks like it might shut off for a bit...fun reading other obs....sort of a non-event here (few inches on grassy surfaces).
  12. Little better than here....we're at about 1"/week rate at the moment.
  13. Pretty underwhelming so far (though snowtv and light accum better than no snow, of course)...flake size getting bigger, but rates still lacking a bit...
  14. Decent snow rates started a few minutes ago....finally.
  15. Wow...like 5-6 miles to your east and double the elevation and we probably don't have half that so far.
  16. Been stuck in a snowhole here in New Market for the most part, just a dusting so far.
  17. Light snow, dusting on the ground, and 27.8. Hadn't looked at the models much since mid day yesterday....seems we may be on the fringe of things now. It was always a bit hopes and prayers on a Miller B, but should still be fun.
  18. RGEM went from 35 to 17 IMBY....toss it. That little spot of 4' in Bmore County...wow.
  19. RGEM just spit out what looks like close to 40" for Mt. Airy area?? I'm on board....
  20. I wouldn't worry about it...I feel like FDK always over-performs a bit in coastals some how. Transient snows not so much...
  21. Went out and measured...about 2 3/8" overnight. So ~8.5" for the event.
  22. Back side snow looks to have dropped a fresh 2" on the concrete that was left over from earlier in the day....24.5 out.
