  1. You got walloped. They restored power for some on my sister's street but looks like her end is being given an estimate of by tomorrow at noon.
  2. The rain has pretty much stopped here outside of some drizzle. Temp is 70 and the dp is 67 so it's not too bad out. As of the 1 pm update, the Schuylkill was at 10.64 ft. and still rising -
  3. That definitely would! When it starts lapping onto the East, not much more is needed before it starts inundating the West, which is flat and lower in many spots, than the East.
  4. Listening to the city's coronavirus update and the head of the EOC just said he was given info that the Schuylkill is expected to reach 18 ft (in the city) by tomorrow (11.1 ft is minor flooding). And he mentioned that the Wissahickon is out of its banks (I noticed the 1 pm USGS update showed a drop to 6.87 ft which I assumed meant that it was all over Lincoln Drive)!
  5. Yup that was the concern - particularly if the Wissahickon is adding to whatever is coming downstream from Montco. I am sure the feeders to the Wissachickon like the Cresheim Creek, are flooded. Am currently up to 4.92" but the winds have kicked in big time and temp is down to 70. I popped out and it wasn't soupy. I did accidently interrupt a hummingbird out at my feeder trying to get a drink. EDIT - Mt. Holly just declared a Flood Warning for flooding of the Schuylkill at Pottstown.
  6. I currently have light rain and am at 4.84" and 71. I saw a flood warning issued for the Perkiomen Creek but I expect the Wissahickon may be out of its banks since it is normally less than 2.5 ft and it is now over 7 ft as of the noon report. The Schuylkill is getting close to 10 ft (also per the noon report) and starts minor flooding at around 11 ft.
  7. The last readings I had were at 12:08 pm. I switched to KOKX.
  8. And I'm getting whapped by the eastern side of that. Now getting about 1/2" per hr rates and am up to 4.73". Temp down to 71.
  9. Had a brief rain pause and currently getting some light rain, however am up to 4.65" so far since midnight. Haven't seen the strong winds yet but expect we may get it as it moves away.
  10. Am now up to 4.21" at post time, averaging around 1.5"/hr.
  11. Mesonet and spotter along the Delaware Bay side of South Jersey are reporting near 60 mph sustained winds!
  12. NHC is still indicating that Isaias' core is still going at 70 mph and it's now moving at 35 mph.
  13. Mt. Holly issued a TOR for Northern Montco.
  14. Hitting 3.73"/hr rates and am up to 3.38" so far today.
  15. Pouring here with just over 3"/hr rates. Up to 3.15 at post time. Temp 74.
  16. Am getting 2.22in/hr. Currently up to 2.42" rain. EAS going with a Flash Flood Warning.
  17. You were just south of a tornado too! There was one reported by a spotter in Strathmere.
  18. The winds are starting to pick up here and a heavy band is now pushing up over the city. Currently at 1.93". Getting well over 1"/hr rates (currently 1.20"/hr at edit time).
  19. Looks like Haz has a Tornado Warning right adjacent to OC, NJ.
  20. Definitely a push of the heavier stuff coming your way! They just dropped a Tornado warning in NW Delaware west of Wilmington, for an area of storms that is moving your way.
  21. The heavy rain bands are starting to push up into southern Delco and Chesco. I'm currently up to 1.68".
