  1. Some gust front came through here with some pretty loud winds. It wet the ground but not enough to be measurable. Temp is 58 and clearing behind this line.
  2. Had a shower just before 8 am depositing 0.06" here. This morning's low of 46 here was much warmer than yesterday's 33. Currently 56 and overcast.
  3. Now you know... I went to the one near me on Friday and there was a line but it moved relatively quickly (at least for the time of morning I was there - ~9 am). Drove out to Assi Plaza yesterday and was able to go in before the lines started but when I left, the lines were out the door (it had already gotten packed at the checkouts). Temp here recovered pretty quickly and now up to 62. Dews are up in the 40s as well. All blue sky and sunny.
  4. Ended up with a high of 47 yesterday here and was out in North Wales shopping yesterday in the wind. Bottomed out at 33 (32.7) around 4:30 am this morning after the winds went calm overnight, but a few wind puffs not longer after has sent the temp rise in motion. Currently 35 with lots of high clouds with the sunrise.
  5. Now down to 32 (32.2) and still breezy. Definite arctic/polar CAA going on as the dp is 19.
  6. Ended up with a high of 58 yesterday with 0.56" of rain before midnight and an additional 0.01" just after midnight as the line was clearing out. The heaviest band came through just after 9 pm last night with ~0.5"/hr rates. And just after 11 pm, the temp dropped about 7 degrees, from 45 to 38. Currently just barely 33 (32.5) and windy... and had that wind not been there, the temps probably would have hit hard freeze territory in the mid-20s. As a note, I remember at least one time awhile ago, when we had a hard freeze in the NW parts of the city and surrounding 'burbs in mid-May. I recall taking a trip to the old Hechinger's hardware chain in Jenkintown (originally a Wanamakers and now a Raymour and Flannagan & Trader Joe's), where they had all kinds of tender vegetable plants and herbs and other plants that were left out that night of the freeze, and every single one was completely dead. After that, many nurseries in the area put up signs for years to indicate that they would not be offering tender annuals until "after May 21st" (or similar later May date). They gradually lifted that restriction although I think there was a more recent late cold snap too and the notices went back up again...
  7. Ended up with 0.08" rain yesterday and a high of 54. Winds dropped off overnight and took the temps with them where I bottomed out this morning @43. The clouds of this morning broke up pretty quickly and it's now mostly sunny and temp is on its way up and at 45.
  8. Eventually made it up to 59 yesterday and after a low of 50 this morning, currently 53 and overcast.
  9. Yeah I had been saving some of my radar shots the afternoon of of 4/29 and using DOX and noticed that DIX was back. (1st screenshot is DOX & 2nd is DIX around the same time)
  10. I made it up to 75 yesterday and then the winds came, dried out the air, and you could feel the CAA as the temp steadily dropped. Bottomed out at 45 this morning. Currently at 55 and still breezy.
  11. Ended up hitting 77 as a high yesterday and only dropped to 61 this morning. Currently up to 73 and sunny here.
  12. Some showers came through here after 3 am and deposited 0.11" IMBY. Ended up hitting 72 yesterday after a low of 50. This morning's low was a bit warmer at 54 and it's currently 63 (sun had popped out earlier this morning but is gone now behind overcast skies).
  13. After some leftover blips of rain before midnight last night, I finished up with 0.50" of rain on the nose. Currently 57 and overcast with some mist.
  14. The back edge is approaching but so far have less than 1/2 the progged qpf - at 0.45". I think it rained itself out before it got to the city. I did briefly get ~1"/hr rates about 7:15 pm but that moved through quickly. Currently 59 with light drizzle/mist, and the winds have fallen off quite a bit.
  15. Wow. A spotter in Pennsville, NJ reported a 71 mph gust (using a hand-held anemometer). Still no measurable here yet although the walks and streets are wt. Temp is 64.
  16. Was just outside and it's weird but it feels like a fall day (like late September) after a heatwave breaks and a strong cold front comes through. (Birds~69 weather ) Still no measurable here yet and temp is down to 65.
  17. Haven't had any measurable yet but it is right on my doorstep. Winds have had some pretty fierce gusts here earlier today. The temp is currently 67 (and it did hit 68 earlier), overcast, and breezy.
  18. Current temp here is 65 and overcast. I was out pulling some scallions (that grew over the winter in my raised "vegtrug" unit believe it or not) and got briefly splattered on with some raindrops. The main firehose is still to the west.
  19. Mt. Holly just upgraded the Wind Advisory for I-95 corridor on east to a High Wind Warning -
  20. Ended up getting 0.33" of rain yesterday (expected more) and a blip of 0.01" early this morning, with a low of 43. The past hour, there have been a number of breaks in the clouds revealing the some blue sky and sun. Temp up to 53 now, mostly cloudy and breezy, with some sun popping in and out.
  21. Ha I wish! Nope, I pretty much got rid of my grass.
  22. The grass absolutely loves this weather - cool and (somewhat) wet!
  23. Lots of fog out there this morning - but mainly around when the sun was coming up. Ended up with a few more blips of rain yesterday to bring me to 0.79" for the day, with a 1.06" 2-day event total. Hi/lo for yesterday was 49/43 and am currently up to 61 so far today, and partly cloudy. And more rain on the way (looks nor'easter-like too).
  24. Ended up with 0.27" of rain yesterday and 0.37" today for the first round. Next round is ongoing at the moment and up to 0.43" so far for today at post time. Temp is 44 with light rain.
  25. The winds dropped off after 9 pm last night and the temp started the expected decent from the mid-40s, bottoming out at 36 around 1 am. But then a breeze kicked in again not long after and mixed it all out, with the temp rising non-diurnally, and creeping back up to 40 just after 2 am. It pretty much held at that the rest of the early morning. Currently at 41 and overcast.
