  1. Snowing great here is Walpole. Hope Kevin is enjoying his snow, would have been good to hear from him with the damage last week and the snow this week.
  2. You are relentless. You are like the Adam Jones of American weather, said respectfully.
  3. Morning snow keeps falling here, a nice surprise duration. Looks great out the window.
  4. Warmth to rain to sleet to flakes ... all in a day's weather. Will take what we can get this year.
  5. Heading to MKE 2/1 through 2/5. Cold has moderated there, too, during that time frame. But at least there will be snow on the ground and temps below freezing. I was hoping for more of the single digits by day and below 0 by night, but I will take what I can get this winter.
  6. I dont know what it is going to do for the rest of the night, but it is nice, and it is accumulating.....a win for 2023
  7. For this winter, we are in a nice band now...the ground is actually beginning to whiten, looks awesome outside
  8. this winter has been so bad I am just enjoying my fire, my beer, the game, hearing the wind occasionally roar outside, and looking out the window to see the flurries turn on and off....pathetic, but that is where we are, so we take.
  9. Same here....I keep a gardening journal for every year for what I do and when I do it...always mark the full leaf drop for my oak, it is always last...just looked at last year and noted it was pretty much done by 11/23, which is typical....they are pretty much gone now, this weekend will be my last leaf pick up, and it is not much...way ahead this year
  10. Still mad that Marvin got robbed by the judges in that Sugar Ray Leonard fight. I was crushed by that decision.
  11. Kevin, Channel 25 in Boston just showed portion of your video...you can see the guy fertilizing
  12. Good luck Kevin, did that with my son yesterday. He's our second child, so it was our second time, it was not any easier than the first. When it was time to say good bye I handle it like ripping off a band-aid...a handshake, a hug, a few words, and then turnaround and go. Much easier as a kid than a parent, the way it should be.
  13. I love that spot....loved it even more when it was a hidden little gem.....wrote eulogies for both my mom and dad on that wall, both in the offseason of November long ago...no better place to think
  14. That is how I am looking at it, Brett and his crew down in Taunton needed it a bit more than we did up here...at least somebody got something
  15. Thunder is loud from all around us, but nothing here...as many have said, so frustrating, I got nothing to add
  16. I would have to put the GM and coach who has won 6 Super Bowls into the competent category. Even if you think he "sucks and he blows" as GM, to paraphrase the sports radio show I never listen to, 6 wins as head coach should be enough to qualify.
  17. We were down in FL for a week...93/75 every day with a heat index of 102....and when you wake up at 6 in the morning, still the heavy pale of humidity....you sweat just by walking....I am not complaining, that is the expectation in FL....but coming back here yesterday to these temps and lack of humidity, its not even close....this is so much better
