    Detroit NWS expecting storms to stay along the I94, 96, and 696 corridors. 10-2am going to fun today got tomorrow off too can porch chase tonight.

    The lightning frequency to my SW is incredible and not even a severe storm. Really wish that was closer to me can hear faint rumbles. Gets me happy for round 2 while I sleep

    shows Michigan getting smoked and also into northern Ohio would be interesting to see just one model of course

    That one blew up once it passed the Detroit river was a good show where I was in Ypsilanti at work. But I’m referring to your textbook MCS like the ones that formed in the plains past month or so. (On a side note it means I get overtime with storms like that)

    DTW area looking at 98 to 100 in the middle of the week. I work outside so that’s gonna be fun

    I certainly hope one does occur I’ve been wishing for a strong MCS or MCV to hit the DTW area. The potential instability of up to 5000 j/kg is pretty gnarly for this area
