  1. An additional .3" yesterday, bringing my three-day total to 2.98". My total for all of August was 2.03". Looks like a few days of nice weather before perhaps another wet period early next week. Onward.
  2. An additional .21" yesterday evening, for a two-day total of 2.68". Juicy.
  3. You were caught in between for most of the action. A much-needed 2.47" over here just to your east.
  4. Just got damn three quarters of an inch here in no more than 15 minutes. Impressive.
  5. Finally got the first drops of the day here with a tiny cell that passed through a bit ago. Radar starting to blossom with some storms to the south.
  6. Great, thanks for asking. The two year old boy decided to get up at 5:15 this morning, because you know, why not. Five month old baby girl growing strong and moving more by the day. I’m just tired, all the time ha, but wouldn’t trade it for the world.
  7. So tell us what we really want to know, have your snow chances gone up or down with the move?
  8. This is an accurate assessment haha. He is what he is at this point. We know what we've got, for better or worse. The smart money is on him getting hurt at some point during the season and the stud freshman from Ohio, Drew Allar (who is probably the best recruit of the Franklin era), taking the reins. Not wishing that, just stating the likely reality. Anyway, low of 56 here. Beautiful day on tap.
  9. Well, to be fair, it was only 3.6 AN when compared to the 1991-2020 period. When compared to the full POR it's 5.0 AN. But I hear ya, and largely agree with the premise.
  10. August officially goes down as the second hottest ever for Harrisburg, with a mean temp of 78.8, trailing only the 79.1 of 2016. Also the 8th driest with total precip of 1.14". I got 2.03" at my house.
  11. They better not even think about interrupting my Nittany Lions for that mundane nonsense.
  12. It looks like we'll end up with the second warmest August on record, just a couple tenths of a degree behind 2016.
  13. Not this guy. It was uncanny what happened here yesterday. That nasty line that popped up ahead of the main batch, for which @Superstorm provided a Radarscope image, well, that formed directly over my area and moved East but didn't see a drop from it, and then the main batch completely fizzled upon approach. All told, it added up to .01" and that's rounding up ha. We were at my dad's house in Mountville and were stunned to not even see a single drop over there. Just a total screw job but them's the breaks sometimes. Anyway, happy for those who made out. A beautiful few days on tap.
  14. Yeah but I think his point was more that it's localized. I'm pretty much spot-on average for precip thus far this year, and last year finished a smidge above average.
  15. Indeed you have. The sun certainly has a harder time heating the ground when it's saturated and in turn a harder time heating the air directly above the ground, but I have my doubts about the magnitude of that effect three days after a rainfall, as Bubbler alluded to. Wild. Starting to feel like a special season for them. With the addition of a third wildcard team this year they're only 2.5 out. Go get it.
  16. I failed to reach 90 here as well, topping out at 89. MU mentioned something about places across york and lancaster counties that got the heavier rain on monday staying cooler today.
  17. My low was 62. MDT's low was 67, because of course it was.
  18. Indeed they are friend. Not sure what world we're living in anymore.
  19. .54" here yesterday. I was playing in a golf tournament all day and the humidity was absolutely miserable, to say nothing of the constant storm dodging, but at least the miller lite was flowing.
