  1. A high of 69 here and a nice light rain has been falling for about the last half hour.
  2. Agreed. I love these setups; more so when it's been dry. Not so much the humidity ha.
  3. Digging through the closet for jackets and sweatshirts for temps in the mid to upper 60s?? Get out of here with that nonsense MU Low was 60 here. First bout of real-deal humidity looks to settle in for the weekend ugh. Looking forward to copious H2O though. I think we'll all make out pretty well.
  4. Oh I bet. Time only moves one way. Wait, you're telling me it doesn't get better!?
  5. Yep. Recovery time is a real thing. It's amazing how as you get older even just being on your feet all day and doing basic tasks, especially when combined with alcohol intake ha, is enough to make you sore for a few days.
  6. 66 for the low here as well. Your comment could be taken many ways. I will choose to view it under a meteorological umbrella haha. But yes, rain......it's coming. I'm pretty pooped from throwing our annual summer party on Saturday. We did the slow cleanup on Sunday while imbibing in the "leftovers" ha. It was a great weekend but man it takes it out of ya.
  7. Have already blown past a quarter inch here. Winning.
  8. Well I was able to sneak in my mow this morning juuuust in time. Storms on the doorstep. Skies have darkened tremendously. Let’s get it.
  9. Sure does. Full go on the party. Now I just have to get the entire inside/outside of our house cleaned and in order -- always easy with two kids under 3. I tell ya what fellas, a man's work is never done.
  10. Low of 56 here and .07" of rain yesterday. House feels great this morning with the windows open all night. Looks like a fair portion of us will be in line for some decent rains tomorrow. Hoping the Saturday stuff stays well to the north and east.
  11. .07" and beautiful blue skies here now with a comfortable but hefty breeze.
  12. I will be keeping a sharp eye on things, that much I can tell you. But yes, I think ultimately it will end up being a beautiful day down this way. NWS agrees thus far -- calling for 81 and sunny with a nice northerly breeze.
  13. The Canadian is drunk again, or at least he better be because we have a party to throw on Saturday. Sharing the national low this morning because the name is too good not to -- 26 at Wagon Wheel Gap, CO. What a country.
  14. If it makes you feel any better (and I know it doesn't ha), my boss up in Lower Paxton Township in Dauphin County got less than .4" as well.
  15. Low of 54. Another perfect day on tap. With the 1.36" I got yesterday and the likely chances for additional rain tomorrow and perhaps Thursday night, I'll be mowing again come Friday.
  16. As you should be. Damn. I was thinking of you as I was juuuust sneaking inside those torrential bands. Figured you were gonna come in much lower than me but not THAT much.
  17. Final tally here of 1.36”. My new automated station measured 1.26”, for an under-reporting rate of about 7%. Anyone else notice the automated weather stations slightly under measuring when compared to the manual cylinder gauges? Or am I the only loser cross-checking two gauges haha.
  18. Yep I was just in it. Went from about a half inch to now just over an inch from that batch. Real deal.
  19. I'm at .13" already and currently pouring. Nice start.
  20. 12z RRFS just went bonkers on the southeast portion of the valley, but it's pretty much on an island with this depiction......
  21. Glorious weekend. Low of 71 here; haven't reported anything like that in quite some time ha. Let's hope for a nice soaking today and a couple of more decent opportunities throughout the week. Man is it nice seeing this heading our way.......
  22. Low of 51 here. Have to do some outdoor painting this weekend but other than that looking forward to lounging around the kiddie pool with the little ones and making some fresh drinks. And oh yeah, enjoying some fresh air! Cheers to all.
  23. Yeah especially when one has a newly built fire pit they’re looking to show off ha. Well that’s the thing, they didn’t include fireworks or fires for cooking purposes in the ban soooooo….yeah fun times ahead haha.
  24. I did the same the one night, not that it matters much. Damn Lancaster put a burn ban in place just in time for our annual summer party too ugh.
  25. Got completely shafted here, as everything split right around us. Just a couple scattered drops. Tell ya what, this ultra dry air we’ve been stuck under has led to a number of misleading radar estimates lately. As others have mentioned, orange often means light rain, if that.
