  1. A nearly identical .4” here; however, I did experience all of the above, with the notable exception of hail.
  2. That was a nice classic summertime thunderstorm. Had it all — frequent lightning, gutter gushing, 15 degree temp drop, gusty winds with sideways rain, etc. Probably close to a quick half inch, will have to confirm. All in all, i give it a B+.
  3. Storm has commenced here. Let’s get it on. Update: total monsoon. Very impressive winds.
  4. Just a few scattered drops thus far. Fingers crossed for a line to move through later.
  5. Who knows but it sure seems likely that July is going to start on the hot'n'humid side.
  6. Just did some number crunching and I think we'll end June with an average temp ~70.3, or ~2.3 BN. This would be our coolest June since 2009. In other news, the 18z HRRR is not exactly awe-inspiring for down our way. We shall see.
  7. It really was. You guys are making out like bandits. Time to share the wealth!
  8. I was just outside doing some light gutter cleaning. So gross out. Atmosphere is juiced. It better damn well pour later.
  9. Happy late Monday morning y'all. So I only caught the edge of that storm that dropped 2" near Landisville that @Itstrainingtime mentioned, to the tune of .09". My five-day total is now .59". Pretty meh depending on what happens with today's and tomorrow's storms. For the month I am at 2.49"; for the year 13.9". Staying positive *he whimpers*
  10. Got caught under the edge of those slow moving T-showers earlier but only amounted to a tenth of an inch. MUCH more just a couple miles from here.
  11. Yeah I’m pleasantly surprised by the extent of the coverage. Should be some decent winners today.
  12. How can anyone hate Happy Valley!? Canderson you’re on thin ice!
  13. Well, I experienced multiple torrential downpours yesterday, both at the wedding and the drive home, but nothing fell all day here at the house. My four day total (or however many days we’re up to at this point ha) stands at an even .5”. Chances look slightly better than previously thought for today and tomorrow looks fun. Staying positive!
  14. I’m up near Sunbury for a wedding and it’s been absolutely dumping for almost half an hour. Of course I check home and…..nothing.
  15. Im sitting at 72/70. Yuck. Luckily those slow moving showers earlier this morning went right over me and salvaged what would have been pretty paltry totals for me. As it stands, I’m probably still only around a half inch for my three day total. Will have to check the gauge here shortly. Forgot to add, I have to go to a wedding today in this muck, and a dry wedding at that. Uuuugh.
  16. I have been completely screwed here all day, fringed in every way imaginable on all sides with every cell or band. Serves me right for staying positive haha. Glad to see others are making out well though.
  17. Habby's site is one of the best meteorological learning tools you'll ever find. Can be a bit messy but has it all, and in an easy-to-understand fashion to boot. https://www.theweatherprediction.com/
  18. Nah, only people from Rouzerville make mistakes as egregious as that.
  19. Doubling me up?? The gall of this guy. Yeah it appears I got mostly split my those heavier overnight showers. That's alright, mine is coming. I can feel it. #StayingPositive
  20. Here comes the humidity ugh. Low of 63 here with a two-day rain total of .3". Topped out at only 67 yesterday, impressive. MDT missed their record by one degree, maxing at 66. We should start getting into the good stuff down this way later today, as the rain chances look to continue in near perpetuity. Monday is certainly a day worth keeping an eye on for all the wrong reasons, although I do love me a good severe outbreak. National low of 21 near Mackay, ID. National high pretty much anywhere in Texas ha. Toodles.
  21. Well that was the other thing, figured he would respond if he deemed it worthy. Wasn't my fight to take on haha.
  22. I thought about it but figured you were just wisecracking with the "only". Also sometimes I'm just lazy about posting ha.
  23. Ah got it. It definitely stood out to me as seeming high but I had also seen the map @Itstrainingtime posted earlier today and figured it made sense. Clearly it did not ha.
  24. .22" of nice light ground-soaking rain here thus far. I don't expect much actual qpf through the day today, just one of those overcast cool drizzly easterly type days, but the grass will enjoy that as well. Humidity builds in tonight through tomorrow and storm chances along with it, lasting at least through the weekend. I still think we all make out very well over the next 5 days or so. Oh yeah, congrats to the Bears!
