At 5:56am they were at 40 so it just means at some point during the hour immediately before or after that they dropped to 37. Not unusual. Can’t go off of just the on-the-hour observations. As TimB pointed out.
A low of 41 here and .04” in the gauge. Gonna feel downright wintry out there today. MDT currently 1.0 below average for the month, next few days should bring that down a bit further.
Oh Man you’re really bringing back memories with talk of the Rotor haha. When i was 11 or 12 a buddy of mine and I rode that thing like 7 times in a row. The things you can get away with when you’re that age ha. We used to crawl upside down with our heads facing the floor and the attendant would have to yell through the speaker that they were going to stop the ride if we didn’t stay upright. Ah good times.
Saw that. Had a feeling some places along northern tier would crack a foot. Looks like Laporte did as well, and likely some higher elevation spots near the PA Grand Canyon.
Wow I topped you by a whopping .02, 1.21” total over here. All plain rain as far as I’m aware, unless someone in the Lanc/York area can confirm some overnight frozen. Doubtful.
Sitting at 38 here and nothing frozen has fallen all day, not that I was expecting any. Loving all the pics. Congrats to all those making out. What a cool event. I think someone pops a foot at elevation along the northern tier. Some heavier rain on my doorstep, sweet sweet sleeping music on the way.
