  1. Low of 35 here, yet had to scrape my windshield. Wasn’t expecting that.
  2. Yep, had my eye on that for a while now. Could be rockin'.
  3. MDT officially set the max min record yesterday of 48. A quarter inch of rain here. Count me amongst those who think the back half of March is more likely than not to end up BN. Whether that means any snow to track, only time will tell.
  4. 47 with thick fog and .15” of additional rainfall, bringing event-total to a pedestrian .29”.
  5. Not often you are damn near 20 degrees higher than those of us down this way.
  6. I have received measurable snowfall in 15% of Aprils and 62% of Marchs since I've been keeping records. Have never recorded snowfall in May but did see it falling in late May up near Bradford when my wife and I were on a trip to the Allegheny National Forest. For good measure, October 8% of the time and November 54% (although a few were <.2" for the entire month).
  7. Only .14" of rain here thus far. The March 6th max min record of 45 looks likely to fall. Peter Sinks is having none of it, with a national low of -22.
  8. Yeah PCN lost the rights to Flo a few years back and it ruffled quite a few feathers. A shame that it's no longer available for free public viewing.
  9. Preach! Don't forget PIAA states this weekend in Hershey too. MJS will be in the building.
  10. 38 here with what looks to be about a third of an inch of rain so far. Will get a final reading later.
  11. Yeah that's the right word for it.......interesting. All kinds of disjointed in regards to SLP placement but worth keeping an eye on. A LOT to be sorted out yet.
  12. Low of 24 here. MDT came in a little cooler than forecasted these last few days, making for a final Feb. mean temp of 38.3, good for a T-8th all-time.
  13. A VERY stark difference in conditions over the course of those 2,900' ha.
  14. Looks like winter finally arrived in Minnesota, as International Falls picked up the national low at -22. High was 89 in De Soto City, FL. The highest wind gusts reported on CTP's PNS were both in Centre County -- 60 from a NWS employee near Boalsburg and 59 on the Beaver Stadium WxSTEM.
  15. Current temp of 28 is the low and .24” of rain. Garbage cans made it through the night. #Winning
  16. Haha it truly never ends. But it’s also awesome and rewarding and all that good stuff…..at least that’s what they tell me ha. Snow being reported on mPING all the way down near Mechanicsburg.
  17. Haha actually no. They still routinely wake up through the night. In fact, our daughter (she’ll be two in a couple months) is going through a pretty bad sleep regression right now where she is waking up multiple times through the night and wanting milk and wanting to be in our bed and just generally being fussy. It’s exhausting.
  18. Man, winds were insane there for a bit. Nice and loud for the kids to try and get to sleep.
  19. Lightning flashes lighting up the office space here in Harrisburg. Storms on the doorstep.
  20. Can confirm nothing of note down this way. Sadly, I have spent way too much time looking into this topic in the past. That will probably shock no one ha.
  21. Low of 53 here with .03” of rain. Looks like the front should easily cross early enough this evening to avoid any min max records falling.
  22. Wind Advisory: sustained winds 31 to 39 mph, for better than 1 hour - and/or wind gusts 46 to 57 mph for any duration. High Wind Warning: sustained winds 40 mph or greater, for better than 1 hour - and/or wind gusts 58 mph or greater, for any duration.
