  1. Rain has officially flipped to snow at my buddy’s cabin at 1900’ in Tioga Co. Thinking they get a nice 3-6”. Paging @pasnownut
  2. 39 here with .84” of rain. Some higher terrain areas across the northern tier should see snow soon.
  3. An additional .12” here, for a three-day total of .5”.
  4. Yeah it’s rare that even losing teams are kept under a 100 anymore. Edit: To add to this, from 1964-2022 there were four 70+ point games. In the last year there have also been four such games.
  5. You aren’t kidding. Fog got very dense very quickly here as the temp dropped to the dew point. Sitting at 48 with 99% RH.
  6. Stuck at 53 here, as we’ve been socked in the clouds all day long.
  7. 48 with light rain falling. An additional .18” of rain, bringing the two-day total to .38”.
  8. Very raw here. Yards and fields hanging onto random patches of snow, otherwise just piles remaining.
  9. 41 and .2” of rain has fallen thus far. Not expecting anything white down here anytime soon.
  10. I believe snow depth is to be reported as an average. I.E. if half your yard has 3 inch depth and half is bare you would report a snow depth of 1.5". @Cashtown_Coop can verify Yep, yard was full and solidly covered when I left for work this morning. My backyard faces ESE but lies on a NW-facing slope. Also have some tall trees around the perimeter that provide ample shade, but even the parts that aren't shaded were holding strong. Tomorrow morning will be a different story ha.
  11. Low of 36 here with no sign of any precip. Don’t think we’ll get a whole lot of rain down this way over the next couple of days. Snowpack should hold until tomorrow.
  12. I appreciate the concern but I am a Packers fan. It’s the thought that counts though! Haha
  13. Looks like we're likely to have a couple days at the end of the week where the max min records are in play. #MildNights
  14. Haha of course they did. Low of 15 here. We knocked back that departure to only 2.4 AN at MDT but the next week or so looks to shoot it back up, albeit not as extreme as where it was. These mild overnight lows will kill the average. National high of 72 at like six places in southern Florida and low of -19 at good ‘ol Davis, WV.
  15. That’s one of the spots we like to frequent while in Hershey for the state wrestling tournament. Really like their offerings.
  16. Low of 21. Pretty broken up about the Packers over here. Didn’t expect them to win and obviously have exceeded all expectations for the season, but once you’re in it and really feel like you outplayed a team…..damn. In the eternal motto of the sports fan, there’s always next year.
  17. I swear I’ve been adding to my snowpack just from all the snow flying off the tall pines and cedars ha. Back yard has been like a snow globe all day. True winter, and it’s glorious.
  18. We are both sticklers with the data so that makes sense haha.
  19. Low of 13 here, which is the current temp. An additional .2” overnight from those rogue bands, bringing storm total to 4.7”. A stunning scene outside. Happy for those to the west who really made out overnight with those streamers. Let’s see if we can cash in on another surprise or two today.
  20. FINAL observation: Sitting at 24/22 and an additional .1” brings the event total to 4.5”. Very pleased. Intrigued by all this talk of long-lived streamers tomorrow. Doubt we see much of anything down this way but love to see the strong wording from CTP. Settling in for a couple days of arctic cold. Fireplace and whiskey kind of night.
  21. 4:45 observation: An additional .7” since 1pm, bringing event total to 4.4”. Just shoveled driveway and everything is covered again. Is there anything worse than being super sweaty when it’s freezing cold out ha. Anyway, solid light snow continues here. Sitting at 27/25. Loving every minute!
  22. Great post. Hey Training, on what kind of surface do you take your official snow measurements?
  23. 1pm observation: 1.2" of additional snow over the last four hours, bringing my event total to 3.7". Steady light snow continues but things seem to be slowly ramping up again. Sitting at 31/25, although my thermo is spiking a wee bit due to meager midday solar getting through (crazy I know, but true, running a couple degrees higher than any surrounding station). Let's see what the afternoon brings. Not seeing much in the way of coastal redevelopment showing up on the radar for the LSV but the water vapor loop seems promising. That might be the best tool to use in this instance. Fun little event.
