  1. Could we maybe see some storms fire along the outflow boundary that was laid down between the two severe cells? Mainly asking this because otherwise I’m looking at a split to my north and south.
  2. Also summer swim starts today. For the swim parents in this forum what's it like? @mattie g and @H2O, it seems like a lot of work.
  3. Forgot to mention to anyone who cares but I went to a swim meet like three weekends ago, was the last short course yards meet of the season. I got to race a fast kid that I practice and am also friends with, it was a fun little end of season meet. I got a 49.45 in 100 free, which I am quite happy about. Despite hating and never practicing butterfly I got a mid 26 for a 50, which placed me top three at the meet so I guess I can swim fly now. Did ok in 50 yards breaststroke but it just feels off. Got to swim 25 free in a speed suit which was fun, got a 10.4 something and won the meet in that event. Also did well in 100 IM, 56 something I think.
  4. Wonder if we get a day two enhanced? What's the main fail method with this severe event and what should we look for in the models to determine if the threat is looking more threatening or not.
  5. Well @Maestrobjwa You have not gotten 5 inches of snow in several years but you might get a tornado instead.
  6. That is just a couple neighborhoods over from where I live, I think I might try to bike around later this afternoon.
  7. Cool, went right over my house, at school right now so won't know what happened for a bit. Just saw the image, I looked at radarscope but it only lasted a frame so was hard to make out but it makes sense the NWS knows just a bit more than me.
  8. Was the warning needed? Couldn't really see anything from sterling radar, better safe than sorry I suppose.
  9. Imagine if the line came through around 3/4 hours later. Either way looks like it might be an interesting day out.
  10. I'm technically a CIT or coach in training, so I still am swimming on the team but I also get to coach an age group (9-10s) along with helping the coaches at meets.
  11. Anyone going to the pool on Saturday? At this points its a tradition to go whatever the weather. Can't wait for my first day of coaching Tuesday.
  12. Can’t wait for a day two enhanced, they always work out!
  13. Constant thunder and lightning to the south, it’s non stop.
  14. A swing and a miss. Take some pictures if you’re gonna get hit, safely of course.
  15. And it’s back also has it redevelop and hit the Carolinas
  16. Could someone translate or this in the same vain as negative PNA?
  17. Have you ever seen a model be as consistent as the gfs showing a storm in the gulf? It’s had one there since 330 hours out and has stayed locked in. It’s crazy.
  18. You gonna start the tropical thread soon because if you’re not I will.
  19. Gfs keeps showing a tropical low in the gulf every run. No other model has it at all though. Still amazing to see the GFS’s consistency even this far out.
