Thanks, yeah the grass was a deep green in most locations and will probably take off with tomorrow's rain and no real cold for a couple of weeks.

Actually had to mow this evening, hopefully the last of the season... Colors are really starting to pop down here too!

I missed both of them living in Delaware, so I guess I am due? 18 inches has been the max for me since I have been here. I saw 36" during the blizzard of 96 living in PA, but was only 13 at the time and can't recall too much. Living in rural PA at the time, I remember being truly snowed in for days.15 ft snow drift on 1 road and a 12 foot drift on the other. Needed equipment from Erie to get the roads cleared.

After last year, day by day is probably the best way to go...but yeah, expectations are low. I didn't get to experience 2010/2011 up here, so let's go and do it again!

No pigs please.... hopefully the blocking we have seen recently has something to do with the solar min and not some random garbage. Possibly seeing some rounds of blocking this winter. Probably the typical massive swings 0 to 60 degrees in 24 hrs with little snow retention with and average winter is what we can hope for I guess....

So the the stronger we get here, the more it can impact our region.... Great, our winter was looking grim before, now we might as well go full ratter at this point. So the wild card could be the solar min. Expectations remain low going into October.

Only got down to 41 last night, heavy fog this morning. Despite the low 60s for temps yesterday, the sun felt almost hot. Should be a fantastic weekend...

This guy has been around 2 out of the last 3 nights....first at 430 am and last night at 815 pm, 5 minutes after I had the dog out. I do not really want to run into him.

No thanks...way too much of that here of late. A snowy November through March would be alright though! Those few mornings of sub 30 and now 80+ feels weird, it felt like August today, the kids swam in the pool for a bit. Temperature was actually 68 before I kicked the heater on, sun is still cooking the water, just a bit at least.

28.6 this morning...Looks like a warmup is coming, 70s/50s would be just fine until November
