I don’t watch the Eagles much so it’s not really fair for me to comment. But I will say this and stand behind it. What I saw Mike Zimmer do last week and what I saw Rivera do today qualifies in my book as completely dumb and is unjustifiable.

Eagles? How about the Football Team. Ridiculous decisions made by some of these coaches IMO. You score to tie with seconds remaining but you’re so afraid of overtime you just think what the hell let’s just lose it now. Vikings had an extremely large chance of winning last week but lost because of one of these unwarranted decisions and likely threw the season away in the process. They probably would have had a completely different outlook entering today’s game. Speaking of the Eagles, why in hell did they go for two on the first touchdown? Makes no sense. Even if you make it you’re still down nine.

This would be total misery. Temps in the 30’s and heavy rain, tropical in origin.

The long range now takes us into November where winter events have been known to occur. Jus a glance at the GEFS suggests a near normal regime the first few days with the caveat that that’s a long way out. Hopefully the mods can pin this and soon we will have stuff to talk about.

I hear ya and I’m old enough to remember the winter of 90-91 too. That winter down in my neck of the woods made last year look good. So god awful winters are always on the table. However, since it’s all about perspective, just a handful of events can certainly change the feeling. If we could get a few periods with decent cold and then get lucky with a little snow I think we’d all rank that above last year. Truthfully though I don’t really give it much thought. Whatever it is, I have no control over it.
