  1. Let’s start the campaign for a snow shutout early. C’mon y’all we can do this. No Snow 2020-2021!!!! Join the movement. Make your voice heard! (God knows they are in the winter thread)
  2. Makes it hard to troubleshoot lol
  3. BWI 23.2” DCA 14.2” IAD 26.8” RIC 11.1” MBY 31.6”
  4. Well , 2020 ending has a probability of 1, so I’d have to agree.
  5. I agree but I’ll bet that won’t happen
  6. Every night I pray “please Lord let CAPE get enough rain for his new grass”
  7. Might want to check those stats on Jan 2010. It was nearly 3 degrees below normal here. Not too snowy until the end though.
  8. Unless it rises and stays there
  9. Whadda ya think? Say, next October?
  10. Can @WxWatcher007 just come in here and reap this winter already?
  11. Just for sh*t’s and giggles, 95-96 turned cold right around the end of October
  12. This is the Nina (ns event dominant) screw zone. When I see the inverted V on the precip map I know it’s a lost cause
  13. Me too. Here’s my winter snowfall map for the area ..
  14. Here it is again. Check out the gfs forecast for next Thursday vs it’s forecast from two days ago. This is a common occurrence in Nina years. Cold can, at times really struggle to progress southeastward.
  15. It seems that the gfs modeling is right in line with what can be typical in Ninas. At range models will send cold fronts south and east bringing shots of cold but as you get closer the cold tends to hit a wall and gets shunted east and has a difficult time making southeastward progress. The gfs had already done this once, this week, and not sure that it won’t next week too.
  16. Agreed. Who was that dumbass that started a MR thread?
  17. It looks really bad. Possible complete winter cancel in progress
  18. This would be total misery. Temps in the 30’s and heavy rain, tropical in origin.
  19. The long range now takes us into November where winter events have been known to occur. Jus a glance at the GEFS suggests a near normal regime the first few days with the caveat that that’s a long way out. Hopefully the mods can pin this and soon we will have stuff to talk about.
  20. Isn’t that a typical Nina look?
  21. Well that was certainly putting down a hammer. Loved it
  22. Yep. It’s over. Time to look toward the future.
  23. I hear the central Pacific is starting to ice over
