    Maybe when the thermal haline circ finally shuts down and ushers in the next ice age....or at least a period of below normal temps. Termites will have probably had their way with it before then though.

    Late February is really rocking so far. Cold frame lettuce seeds started to poke up from the soil as of this morning.

    Ok, tonight will be a wet, warm February night. I'm gonna go out after the super bowl and see how many salamanders are breeding in the pond. I'll post pics up. I expect spotted salamanders and also some newts.

    Look at these seasoned Venison steaks....from deer caught on Meadow Mountain. Me and Benson are gonna eat well tonight. Well at least I will, he'll be eating dog food and kibble.

    It's a shame *he* retired, this winter would have been the greatest weenie harvest of his time. He could've retired on top. Instead it's like Tom Brady...retiring with a good cry on ESPN. Eh, but you wouldn't care about this sort of thing.

    Since 2017 we really haven't had much obscene heat. Not much snow either. Coincidence?

    Weatherbug caved overnight and it's back to rain for Sunday. Definitely over now.
