  1. We have to wait for the stuff back in WV. The 2nd round was always 7pm-ish.
  2. 84.1 here just a bit west of you. Plenty of sun now, though it will cloud up for a period soon. Should be transient, though.
  3. Did the same just 15 minutes ago. I remain unconvinced that my kid will be able to pay attention during 1st grade online, but they seem to be putting in the effort.
  4. In EJ's world, we only hit these if they are billion-dollar disasters. So, still due
  5. 0.39” and still steady. Definitely a blend of the models. Didn’t dry up like the mesos thought, but the Euro was way too aggressive.
  6. 06z HRRR is effectively sprinkles. Meanwhile the 00z Euro still douses us.
  7. Quick hit by a bit of rain <0.10" and wind (~30mph). Some thunder.
  8. The Euro has hurricane force guests at DCA next Friday night. Their wind product is so much fun.
  9. It is 11:30am in mid-August, mostly cloudy and 71 degrees. Yes.
  10. Yeah, it is coming from a pipe inset in the curb (maybe 4") that looks like it comes right from the water tower. The water really gains speed going down Buckelew. I know you guys own the house there on Tower so you have access to the water tower. I'm curious to see if you'll need to do something to that tower.
  11. Damn, @H2O, you guys just flushing the entire water tower in my neck of the woods?
  12. 130 at Death Valley today. Possibly the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth (the others are questionable).
  13. Few drips today. 0.04” since midnight. The HRRR had been getting wetter, but has reversed.
  14. Yeah, strange little area of enhancement, especially from you to the hospital and over to Nutley.
  15. Back down to 0 w/m^2 solar. Dark out there this morning. 0.63" combined over the past two days. Good enough.
  16. That is some serious rain SE of Manassas/W of Dale City. >3" in an hour indicated by radar and backed up by some of the PWSs.
  17. I'm not seeing that. The HRRR is keying in on the initial convection being focused on a very weak surface boundary that is around the MD/PA border. Beyond that, there is little forcing so this is going to be a pulsing, cold-pool driven day. The coverage may not be very good, but like last night in Manassas, whoever gets it will be quite wet.
  18. Still 100% accurate. They aren't instructing people not to do what is best for their kids, but they are not going to make changes to their process to facilitate unequal access.
