  1. I agree and always have 100%. Beyond a couple weeks it's as good as a coin flip.
  2. Lol it's funny you say and you are correct. I live in NJ, have place on lake in PA (Poconos) and cabin in the greens. Had to be down in NJ for work so I snuck up to the PA place for the night thinking we would put up big number there like models had been zoning in on. We did ok, maybe 14" but at my cabin in VT we put up a 30+ spot. Incidentally 75 miles away in Binghamton places were put up 35-40. Oh well, I'll be up at the cabin in VT tomorrow night digging out from 3' for the weekend.
  3. You know how sick that magic terrain is going to be
  4. View from cabin cam and only started snowing between 11-12
  5. Totally bombing at my cabin in West Wardsboro, VT
  6. Heavy snow, 4.8” 16 degrees Lake Naomi, Pocono Pines, PA 1,810 feet
  7. Heavy snow, 3.2” 16 degrees Lake Naomi, Pocono Pines, PA 1,810 feet
  8. Writing on wall Ant. We always knock these amped nam runs but often they prove correct with warning. NAM really warm for coast and city.
  9. I agree the GFS will probably end up too far south but the others are drifting to it more than the other way around. I think Boston does fine but CNE north could be problem.
  10. Actually Forky already flipped and said he feels that suppression is the bigger risk now and this will stay S and E. I guess if he says both one will be right lol.
  11. Why, you keep saying this will be suppressed so why would you want to be where he is lol. Inner weenie coming out?
  12. The Euro had the eastern daks, western MA and VT getting significant snow for the 12/5 storm within 72 hours. If you recall we discussed frequently in that thread that the euro (and icon) has an amped bias and that the more progressive gfs was leading the way often in the regime flow the last year or so.
  13. Well 12/5-12/6 as a recent example, but frequently in the last 18 months. The Euro has been too over amped often.
  14. Nah, look again, the second is not a fast mover. It’s an 18 hour snowstorm in NYC. Take a look up north, 50/50 and NAO ridging block won’t allow it to zip. Pay attention to that.
  15. So Forky going all rain for this one, we'll see how he verifies come mid-week.
  16. I was in NJ for 12/30/00 which was some of the heaviest wall of snow I’ve seen. If I recall wasn’t that a real strong Arctic shortwave that just exploded when it hit the coast and went negative tilt?
