    Did the storm shift west since this morning? I thought it was slowly drifting East.

    I wish I had the confidence some of you have. Unfortunately, Pittsburgh gets screwed way too often for me to feel comfortable right now.

    NAM 3k was a bit better, but still not great. By the end of the run, there’s 7.4” of snow Kuchera is only 6”, and snow depth is 2.5”. Plus, mixing issues. Just not pretty. It’s a 987 low over VA, I thought stronger storms pulled in more cold air.

    That’s got to be a lot of sleet though right?

    I really hope this isn’t the loss of a storm, that I kind of expected.

    NAM looks bad. Very dry, which is odd because the upper levels look humid enough. Not sure if that is correct or not.

    On a different website forum, sorry about the confusion. They are not too happy, maybe it’s more easterners, but centrals aren’t happy for the westerners, lol.

    It’s dark on other forums. Central PA and eastern folks are bitter. Some even rooting for failure for us too.

    On another forum, I thought someone said it showed mixing to Cleveland almost. That may have been the SREFs though.

    Heard it’s not great.

    Seems GFS has lead the way recently with these storms. Let’s hope that continues.

    Also, I’m really surprised nobody in their forecasts has introduced mixing issues. Even NWS has keep the forecast all snow. Hope that’s a good sign.

    If the GFS is to be believed, it’s on target.

    Not to get too far ahead but the CPC has the potential for heavy snow over our area again from 1/22-1/24.

    Up again! TWC upped the point and click to 10-14”.

    We’re not entertaining it.

    That’s true, just better stay put. NWS has the storm severity index as major in the City, one step down everywhere else.

    That sleet is so close, I hope it’s overdone. I mean if that’s how it plays out though the rates look intense in the City.
