    Hopefully, we get a little something Wed-Thurs., then we can maybe sort out the weekend. I imagine the weekend would be determined by how far the artic front sags, as it would ride the zone it set up, or did I get that completely wrong, lol.

    True, just by the nature of the storm, but definitely could turn to sleet after those cold temps if the uppers get flooded with warmth. I'm not super confident for the weekend storm, though. Seems the arctic airmass would suppress it. Hopefully, I am wrong. Ron Smiley said maybe an inch Sunday though.

    Is showing sleet and freezing rain? Also, yes. Many areas in eastern PA were single digits Sunday morning and turned to sleet and rain by evening.

    I actually ignored the storm for awhile, because I saw how far south it was and figured it never make it up to us. Can't count it out this year I guess.

    This storm was ots at first and here we are now. Could see something from it.

    To be fair the NWS threw the NAM out too.

    I think 6" should be warning regardless of storm duration, especially in the City, as they never clean streets, so it stays dangerous for long periods of time.

    Well, we are officially over 7", maybe around 8 at this point.

    It's on the NAM, lock it in. And getting into range. Also, potentially very cold after that, flirting with 0 maybe?

    We got at around 7" on the ground, probably tough to measure due to some blowing around. Heavy to shovel though. Definitely don't need to go to the gym now.

    Wednesday looks like the only day above freezing at 37-40. Doubt there will be much loss. Especially with slight thaws and refreezes over night.

    The prevalence of 6"+ storms over the last two seasons has been nice. I do hope this is a trend.

    Official total so far from 5am is 6.1". Still lightly snowing, at least a st looks like the backend could hang around for a bit. Maybe we officially squeak out 8".

    Dry slot. The sleet never seemed to fully transition for a long time.

    Don't care when it snows, just snow.

    But like KPIT said, they should have acknowledged our climo. It is always a possibility. Credibility could take a hit if overnight snow does not arrive like it was supposed to.

    You might have pulled me into the club, lol. I'm not acknowledging next week, maybe we'll reverse psychology it. Also, I'd love to go to Florida, enjoy.

    Hope you're right. Lost a lot faith in the storm, not to mention our NWS and local Mets. How they could completely disregard this possibility is wild.

    You were the one making me feel better, so no luck there. Just got to hope the low in WV transfers soon. Doom and gloom crew was right, they can talk about it forever now, lol. Not even going to bother with next weekend. A damn shame to have the bitter cold forecasted for the end of the week with very little snow on the ground. That will probably warm up anyway.

    Wouldn't say that's a regular occurrence here, usually seems it upper 20s and freezing rain and sleet. These temperatures were unusually low for that mixing.

    1/31-2/1 had 7" of snow. You are wrong about this, sorry.
