    You missed the point. No storm had p-type issues last year. That’s remarkable here. So, p-type isn’t always an issue. The next one may be fine. Could be next weekend at that.

    Exactly, every major storm last year (4 of them) had no p-type issues.

    Maybe the east movement is in progress. Over at wxdisco some posters are reporting the mixing change in eastern and central PA. Hopefully that means the low is moving in there.

    I would agree. Dry slot would be the next culprit but models (HRRR) seem to want to fill it in, so maybe limits damage there.

    Almost an hour and half ago it was just under 2", I'd say north of 2.5". Edit: yep, just measured a little over 2.5".

    I've seen very little sleet if any, so things have gone right for me, lol.

    Ok, but the 8-12" forecast still isn't out of the question, likely already 2" and if we hit good rates overnight, like what was originally forecasted we could be right there.

    Never had full sleet here. There some in there now, I can hear it but definitely snow too. Small flakes but pretty heavy. Does the dry slot actually look that big? Plus, we have all night with this as well and that was supposed to be the heaviest rates anyway from 9pm-6am.

    Heavy and nearly 2” out there. Seems ahead of schedule on totals.

    Heavy snow in the south part of the City. Very little sleet if any here at all. I think people need not worry if there is mixing as it seems brief with each pass. Also with the low transferring, we should be breathing a bit easier now. My untrained opinion, lol.

    Over on wxdisco forum, they said the inland low has collapsed and the coastal has taken over. Winds are starting to come from the north over PA. Hopefully, the alleviates any mixing issues soon.

    Looks like the dry slot is about 11-12 tonight.

    Where is the primary now? Is it moving to the East of our latitude yet?

    That would help at that point if it’s in Central PA.

    Even if a little sleet mixed with the snow, it’s a win to me.

    Actually grass is just about covered. Good rates.

    Still good sized flakes here, but like someone said doesn't seem to be accumulating to much. Would think after some of the rates I've seen the grass should be covered, but it's not yet.
