  1. Because it's not true. The snow was substantial. You didn't measure everywhere and I think you're forgetting it was windy so totals may have been measured too low.
  2. Maybe the NWS should have carved out a little area right over your house that had no warning. I mean the the majority of the area had warning level snow of 6-12”, but because KPIT didn’t get “warning level”, the warning should have never been hoisted. Please get over it, you survived.
  3. No it was a 6-12” storm that hit 9.1” officially. Not. A. Bust. Please do not have any expectations for this one, because hearing about how this busted is going to be exhausting.
  4. Neither was that storm. I think you’re trolling about that one busting now, lol.
  5. Something’s definitely off about those totals, unless they really expect 90% rain, but they should explain that if that’s the case.
  6. Guys, let’s just not fret over this storm. It was a long shot from the get go. There are bigger things to worry about, this storm isn’t one of them. Let’s just hope ice isn’t a major player, for safety sake. We just came off one the best winter months in a few years. Missing this storm isn’t a big deal. And if we get it, great!
  7. That GFS just seems too extreme over too large an area. It seems like that large of a region never has that much ice.
  8. Just keeping trending south and we'll be on the good side. Let's hope it's the start of a trend.
  9. I mean, as long as everyone is safe, then okay. But the destruction at an inch of ice, is not something I'd want.
  10. I mean, if I don't have a power...yeah, but if I do I'm good.
  11. Not for western areas. The airport would be looking at nearly .5" of freezing rain, while eastern Allegheny Co. maybe nothing.
  12. What model is handling the current conditions the best as of now? Maybe that's the one we focus on.
  13. But again, if it's heavy that'd likely lead to more run off, correct? What are the temps at that time?
  14. Wouldn’t the WSW be because of the ice putting up to that level, beyond the snow.
  15. So, winter 13-14, 14-15, 17-18, 20-21 were crap? There were some bad and average, but nearly have were great. What do you want?
  16. Maybe it’s not our climate that’s the problem, but the models that don’t understand our climate?
  17. Guarantee there were periods decades ago that were the same. Climate goes through patterns. It’s a good thing none of us were around for the season that had 8.8”. You’d have had a coronary. Also, just the fact that our average seasonal snow increased with the new normals released last year, kind of proves you wrong.
  18. Oof, tough to read here already. Too heavy on negative. If something doesn’t look good just say it and move on. Please don’t continually complain about how terrible every storm is here, or how they bust, even when they didn’t. We know our climate, it is what it is.
  19. Looks much more south from earlier solutions, good trend in my opinion.
