  1. Currently, tied for 26th longest dry streak at 17 days. After today we hit 18 and move to a tie for 21st. If we make it through Saturday, like expected we should move to 21 days and tied for 9th longest ever and top ten most dry days in a row.
  2. Seems kind of odd that Canada has so many fires, yet I've heard nothing about any western US fires. Is that weird, or am I just disconnected? I really don't remember being this affected (smoke-wise) by Canadian wildfires.
  3. Looks like that damn smoke will be keeping us cooler than expected this week. Was pretty thick for a time yesterday and looks to start pretty thick today.
  4. Currently tied for 42nd longest stretch with no measurable precip at 15 days. After today we make it to a tie for 30th longest dry stretch. If we get past Tuesday without rain we have a chance at making the top 10 longest dry streaks. And the first time recording 20+ days with no rain since 1997.
  5. Maybe we should start this thread since we've already seen our first 90 degree day.
  6. Is a trace considered measurable? I thought measurable was over a trace, and a trace was like just observed precip. Like flurries of snow aren’t measured, but a trace.
  7. Looks like 5 min intervals peaked at 89.6 again, which I find hard to believe that’s where they stop all the time. Probably another 89-er.
  8. Although, we are running 5 degrees warmer than yesterday, lol. I'm sure clouds though will halt us today too.
  9. There were hardly any clouds anywhere near where I was. Was there some smoke higher up? I really can't imagine we didn't hit 90.
  10. It’ll be close. But I know what to expect, lol.
  11. Might have made it. The 5 min says it hit 90, but the it was an 89.6, so I imagine they'd do what happened yesterday and round down. Still time though to officially get there.
  12. The 1pm update is 85, 5 degrees ahead of yesterday. We might make it. If we had dew points in the 60s like we normally do with 90 weather, I'd say we wouldn't make it as of now, but the dew point being around 55 might allow us some wiggle room.
  13. 5 min obs are up to 73 at KPIT, still running 3 degrees ahead of yesterday at the same time, so we'll see.
  14. Which is most forecasted 90 days. I totally expect 89 even 88 to be possible. Dews are still low enough though, so maybe.
  15. Starting 5 degrees warmer today than yesterday, that's a good thing if we're going to try and hit 90. However, there must be some smoke in the air as reports are of partly cloudy skies, but I see no clouds at all. So, we'll see.
  16. Gotta reverse psychology the weather, lol. Looks like 88 at both airports, if I’m reading the 5min intervals correctly. Edit: 87 at KPIT. I guess it’s a rounding thing, but why the NWS 5mins say one temp and the official says something else makes no sense.
  17. Looks like we’re, of course struggling. Hit 86 and have dropped back to 84 multiple times, somehow.
  18. It's absolutely incomprehensible to me, lol. New England regularly hits 90 earlier than the Mid-Atlantic. Anyway, warmest day of the year officially, 86.
  19. Looks like it's officially passed 80. Seems to be moving faster today than previous days.
