    I have a hard time believing a city at the same latitude as southern Canada hasn't seen a flurry all winter.

    I honestly think its kind of silly to rush to the grocery store for milk and bread. Worst case scenario youre stuck at home until noon on Friday. With a strong late Feb sun I imagine there will be a lot of melting on Fri.

    With that much snow they must be forecasting you to stay below 35 tomorrow for a high.

    Plus theres nothing prettier than seeing snow in the mountains.

    800 miles would be from Raleigh to Chicago. I can't see anyone in Raleigh driving all the way to Chicago for a few inches of snow.

    It just seems like theres too much uncertainty with this system to waste time and money driving 1,600 miles round trip plus hotel room. I mean maybe Elizabeth City NC gets hit hard but then again they may only see a few inches.

    There is a dude on another forum who is driving 800 miles from Tuscaloosa, AL to Elizabeth City, NC. Have people lost their minds ? Is a little snow worth driving 800 miles for ?

    Cancelling school over a little slush on the roads ? Thats funny. I just don't think roads will be that terrible on Friday.

    Speaking of tornadoes... On this date in 1992 an EF4 tornado hit the Van Wert, OH area. Pretty impressive for February

    I shouldnt really put much confidence into temps beyond 10 days. I guess im just ready for spring and hoping to see any signs of warmth on the horizon. It's depressing seeing high temps below freezing in early March. I guess at some point the longer days and higher sun angle have to make some kind of impact. Maybe by May we will hit 60.

    According to accuweather it doesnt hit 50 in Indy again until March 19. That's gotta be a joke right ?

    I don't see how a record of -11 seems pretty mild considering we are just 2 weeks from March.

    On the plus side TWC app increased from 1-3 to 3-5 for tonight. I don't think anyone has a clue how much snow we will get. They are all over the place. Personally i would like at least 3.

    NWS in Indy now says up to 3". I was hoping for a 3-6" event but i guess in this crappy winter 1-3" will have to do.
